I'm sorry but Dr. No is simply the best of what is left and with out Dr No there'd be FRWL. Hell there'd be no series. I thought it get more respect than it has. A lowly 2!

Nothing against FRWL, it's my same old policy of take from the rich and give to Dr No ;)

Chief of Staff, 007's gone round the bend. Says someone's been trying to feed him a poisoned banana. Fellow's lost his nerve. Been in the hospital too long. Better call him home.

There are some corkers left Dr. ! I'll give From Russia With Love a minus just to annoy Stocksilvian when he next logs in. :spy:

You got it wrong Carl. It's not taking away points from FRWL, it's when it happens to DN. :P

Still, I honestly don't see how GF/TSWLM/TLD are any better than DN, IMO the quintessential Bond film. I can understand OHMSS, since I rate them very closely.

I think DN's low-budget production values hamper it somewhat, along with the fact that everyone involved was still finding their feet and it didn't quite feel like a fully-formed Bond film, somehow. At least, those are my reasons for ranking it the least of the remaining Bond films (which are, admittedly, the cream of the crop). Like I keep saying, it's not a bad Bond film, by any means, it's just that the others are better.
