The story of Bond 23 might be:Daniel Craig is replaced by Bond #7 starring.....????????? TBM looks and sounds like a non-stop OTT explosive action film of 140 minutes of actual footage(without the credits and song), which will prove beyond the shadow of a doubt that Eon has ripped off another franchise's idea, director, and length of film. :x

Where are the QOS reviews? The film opens next month. You'd expect a few to have filtered onto the net by now.

Its too early yet '007'.....................the film wont get shown to the media until about a week before its release!!

The only people who would of seen it so far are the film makers and the studio executives!

Still over 5 weeks yet to go to release date in the UK.

I'm sure that if you go on IMDb, you'll find some tosser going "I seen it. I shagged that Barbara Broccoli and she gave me a copy on DVD so she could thank me. Yeah, Bond gets killed in this one, swear to God".

They hold these events well ahead of time. Most attend with the understanding they cannot publish until the release date.

If I remember right CRs PR preview was about a month ahead of release.
I don't think Quark is ready yet, they just got the theme song and odds are they are finishing up opening credits graphics and final editing.

Why do you call it "Quark", if you don't mind me asking?

It's his way of insulting Craig by naming him after an alien in a Star Trek show because you know, this isn't a Craig hate site just like the front page claims.

Not at all.

Quark is another name for the movie, I got tired of typing QOS.
Besides I never mention Quark in place of Craig.
You connected the dots on that one. I just don't like the name quantum, not for cars and not for movies.
Quark does nicely

The Sun has released its review. As surly most of you have come to expected, the Sun's review is glowing. Sure to be followed by a spate of full page QOS ads. Quid pro quo.

If anyone wishes to read it, it can be found here

Of course it is. Craig may describe himself as "the Guardian-reading Bond", but it seems very clear to me that the franchise is now aimed firmly at Sun readers, with its surly chav Bond blowing everything up.

The actor transformed suave Bond into a gritty killing machine in 2006 hit Casino Royale and here the violence is ramped up to Rambo proportions.

Yup. That's James Bond alright. A lunatic Rambo killing machine.

Perhaps now is a good time to start the official "We owe you an apology thread" for the Pro-Craig minions to man up an say they are sorry to all the DCinBers.

The people here have a very valid point. Bond is not a English Rambo alternative and M does not berate Bond about killing sprees.

You can still love Craig and if you want you can delude yourself into believing this is what Bond is supposed to be. But at least say your sorry to the fans of the books and classic film series.

Agree with the first point,, but in the review it does actually say that Dame Judi Dench is furious with him, with some line about asking him to try and leave one of his leads alive.

I doubt she was calmly addressing him in a stern monotone voice, although I am fairly certain Craig responded in monotone.
My understanding from the Sun's review may be wrong.
He is so reckless in his blood lust that the CIA agree to kill him when he threatens their dealings with a South American government.

Meanwhile, 007’s boss M (Judi Dench) says: 'Bond, if you could avoid killing every lead there is, that would be appreciated.'

He dryly replies, 'I will do my best' then heads off in designer suits to slay some more.

Things get so bad that M revokes his licence to kill.

Hang on a sec..
katied your weatherman is here!

You can think Burt Reynolds is the best Bond that never was for all I care. Nothing to do with liking or disliking the books or the movies.

You were wrong in your attacks on the people here. From day one they understood what was happening and objected to Craig/new direction for this very reason. Rambo Bond.
Bad enough that CR left behind the culture and comradeship Fleming wrote. Now Quark, no relation to the short story, is slumming further.

You have tried to claim the moral high ground, tried to use purer faith BS as your main argument. You may have earnestly bought into the propaganda. On the face of things this is a complete and irrevocable departure for the Bond Fleming wrote and the house the Connery built.

Connery's Bond was never one that could be mistaken for Rambo.
Fleming's Bond was never as soulless, mindless cretin.
Fleming's books are rich stories full of the trapping of a cultured and well traveled mind. That was mirrored with his character James Bond, not Jimmy, not John (Rambo), not Jason (Bourne), James.

You have wronged the people here and should is admit you were wrong, if you are not big enough for that then at least admit they have a valid point.

While you are at it apologize to yourself, you led yourself astray into a snake handling cult.
