That would be like me suddenly calling From Russia with Love the worst Bond film.katied wrote:Opinions can and do change, quickly or otherwiseNow I know you're really trying to fit in this forum. Opinions don't change that dramatically in so little time
In fact, I know few Bond fans actually think FRWL is the worst Bond film.

Sony has pushed back the US release date a week to take advantage of the void Harry Potter left.

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
I'm sure it will do just as well internationally, that's a given. I'm not so sure about the US. TDK was pretty dark but it managed to make more money than the kid friendly Spider-Man films. I'm not saying QOS will break the $200 barrier, which hasn't been done since YOLT, but given how US audiences are embracing darker flicks, it wouldn't be a stretch to see QOS make a good run. Now that Potter is out and the release date is closer to the holidays, its chances has increased, now everyone just has to wait and see.

Well, it's a given QOS won't flop. No Bond film has ever flopped. Even Licence to Kill, the least successful Bond film, managed to make a profit. Never underestimate James Bond.katied wrote:"Blah blah it won't be a flop and Daniel Craig is god blah blah blah"

So? It's not as if your booing of Craig is less typical.
Why don't you contribute to these discussion like the rest of the more mature DCINBers do instead of embarrassing yourself. Or is it because you really have nothing to add so you mock me and the rest of the Pro-Craigers to make up for your weakness? I suppose you'll confirm the latter by rolling your eyes, which isn't going to help your reputation as a credible member of this site.

Sir Arthur - I've put a link to the news of the move of the opening to the News section. But you can continue to talk about it here of course!

There is a diamond shop called WINT & KIDD.

Anyone find Diamonds Are Forever to be a guilty pleasure?

Guy Hamilton off-screen: "Um, Connery, I didn't call out 'action' yet."

I got to say Stocks i find Diamonds one of the weaker Bond movies. Thats not to say it does not have its moments.
its camper than Moonraker by a long shot and has a dissapointing climax. Wint and Kidd are amusing though![]()

Yes, the climax is the weakest point of the film. Other than that I though the writing was good and Connery as funny.

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Connery never really did age as gracefully as say Roger Moore. Even when he was 58 he looked more like 78.
Even Moore looked younger in LALD.

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
However, Craig 'started' his role as Bond looking aged, that is the problem with him.
