It's his one and only meal ticket. After Bond, he will be the quickest to obscurity of any of the prior 5 Bonds, except in the UK. He will never be more than he was, prior to Bond, this so-called best actor to have ever portrayed Bond.

Craig gives Wilson a THO too? How much did he pay to get a smooch with Danny-boy?

No, but it sounds a lot like you're all suggesting that Wilson does not want Craig in the role, which I doubt is true.

I don't think that, but I doubt he'd move heaven and earth to get him, like Babs did.

Bit quiet on the news front. Have they gagged Gemma? :P

Does anyone know why Daniel Kleinman isn't doing the QOS titles?

Forster wanted his own people. The credits on Stranger Than Fiction were quite stylish (though not especially Bondian), so it'll be interesting to see what they come up with.

Could this be...? A pro-Craiger seemingly admitting that the casting of Craig was motivated more by Barb's hormones than by artistic considerations?

Right. Bit tough on Kleinman, I thought he was the best thing about the new Eon. Shame Forster couldn't have brought in his own Bond actor too.

No, but Wilson did approve by artistic consideration. :P Unless of course you have footage of Babs tying Mikey to a chair and torturing him to have him say "yes I'll accept Craig".

In the past the casting of Bond actors has been more of a committee type approval, rather than a single person making the final decision.
As much as many of you genuinely like to believe that Barbara Broccoli is the sole person responsible for the casting of Daniel Craig, it's simply not the case.

I thinks Babs played the major role in hiring Craig. You just have to look at the way she stares at him sometimes. I don't think they could agree on anyone so she got her way in the end. I think she's a great Fleming fan and decided that, to be faithful to the books, we needed a Bond with shoe lifts and a pudding bowl haircut.

First Ms. Keyes ruining the title song of TBM: Now this! It is time to rid the Bond world of this off-beat character once and for all! This seems to be what DC really yearns. http://entertainment.oneindia.in/hollyw ... 90708.html
