Why are you so obsessed with this question, and Katie seeing CR at the cinema 11 times? In the words of David Byrne, say something once, why say it again? The Sweeney wrote:What's to be smug about?katied wrote:The Dark Knight,by far .*smug*![]()

Also, how someone can be so obsessed by a movie to see it 11 times at the cinema, drool over an actor constantly on `The Place That Can't Be Named', hound people like Thrice who changed his mind about Craig, slag off this site in general, love all things CR and Craig, have no time for people who were anti-Craig, to suddenly revert to the exact opposite with her opinion.....basically cannot be taken seriously.
The real reason she is suddenly all anti-Craig, is because she feels grieved by MI6, and thinks by doing this she is getting back at them in some way. I respect most people's opinion on here why they don't like Craig, and/or the new franchise direction, but if you had read her original posts on MI6 when CR was first released, you may understand why MI6 people here have very little tolerance for her now.
She has never once responded to any of my posts asking her if she ever fancied Craig (read some of her posts on MI6) or the fact that she loved CR sooo much she had to see it 11 times at the cinema (and god-knows how many more on DVD). And now she suddenly hates Craig with a passion.
I don't buy it. Simple as.

It cracks me up how ga ga people over at The Place That Can't Be Named are over the QOS trailer. As I mentioned on another thread, the person who watches the trailer 10 times a day?Ummm obsessed much?
At least when I saw CR in the theater it wasn't 11 times in a row-it was spread out over a long period of time.A lot different than watching the trailer for QOS 10 times.Daily.

An interesting point 'Terry' about the title QOS.Terry wrote:I think The Dark Knight will be a much better film than QOS. Christopher Nolan is far more talented than any of the recent Bond directors. I don't know about box-office figures. TDK does look quite intense which might harm its overall appeal. Summer blockbusters are usually fairly light in tone and style. It doesn't bother me personally but I think the title Quantum Of Solace is starting to look like a slight hindrance. Every Bond article I've browsed recently seems to include at least one joke or snipe about the title of the film.
OK QOS is a Fleming title and its been explained to us what it means...............BUT as a title for a major film, i still
think it sort of sits awkwardly with the cinema going public, and i do sort of agree that the title could be a slight hindrance
to the films business performance.......not so in the UK.......but definitely in the US.
Mind you in non English markets, i wonder if the films title has been translated into something clearer?

I still stand by my thoughts that the title won't scare away people. If it does, then that should have happened with Octopussy. When it comes to James Bond, it's not the name of the film that draws audiences, it's the number.

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Anyway, back to topic...
BO Predictions. QOS will probably, like every Bond film, rule the internationals but the US is the big question mark. Will they abandon Craig like they did for Dalton and Moore on their second films? Everyone I've met liked CR except for one person, sorta, since he did like the film, it was Craig he didn't like.

The advance reviews will probably be a factor. The CR reviews led me to believe that it was a masterpiece. It wasn't.

Alicia Keys is one of the running candidates for singing the theme song for QOS. After rumors like Beyonce, I'm relieved we could actually get a competent female singer, since they're hard to come by these days.
For those unfamiliar, here's her most familiar song.
