The far-left rag Deadline is also reporting the Pascal/Heyman recruitment.

https://deadline.com/2025/03/bond-amy-p ... 236346433/

So it's back to Amy Pascal. Where's the hammer for the final nail in the coffin?

Yeah, she ruined Sony. She's a bona fide wack job, her values are shot completely. She was into the BS we now know as the Craig series. But first when the backlash happened when Craig got cast, she proclaimed Craig was the same size as Connery. She was also pushing for Idris Elba as Bond when it got revealed in one of those Sony email hacks. Gee, I wonder why, could it be because it fills a quota and, at the same time, she's got to show the world how virtuous she is? Nah. Can't be that. But then she and some other Hollyweird mogul, Scott Rudin, got outed as racists when another of their hacked emails showed them trading racist jokes about Obama. Of course, the only way to deal with her scandal was to seek salvation by running to the expert on racial incitement, Al Sharpton, and get his foregiveness. Yeah, that'll fix her issues. So like I said, her values are shot and that's what she'll bring to the table as she spearheads the next Bond movie.

But hey it looks like it's a two-for-one special, considering the Amazon bigwigs got another clown, this Heyman dude. So the Harry Potter series is his claim-to-fame. Yeah, cool man, now he can envision the Bond series along those lines, casting teenyboppers in a young Bond scenario. Those Potter movies are completely unwatchable to me. They're just as bland as the Twilight series. So I'll get that hammer for the final nail in the coffin.

"They [Amazon] are fast-tracking work in the hope it will be in cinemas before the end of 2027," according to an alleged insider scoop from The Sun.
Yeah, first get the script completed. I don't see them announcing the next actor until that's done, or until they got a solid enough script to lure a director and then they go into the Bond casting. We're already nearing half way through this year. Unless, a scriptwriter was hired and working quietly behind the scenes all this time, I don't see any announcement for the director and actor until 2026. Well, we'll see.

I got blocked, too, several times. Same message as yours about being blacklisted. Even now when I submitted some posts, I got a message that the site wasn't working as if what I posted didn't make it through. But then I refreshed the browser and saw that they did get posted. Now I see at the top of the web page this error message:

I found this place because of your cool rants. I wish I found them sooner because, yeah, it's looking like the site is crumbling.

Same with me Quantex. I write a post, send it, the screen goes blank, I refresh it, and then I see it got posted. Maybe Broccoli had her minions attack the platform here in protest of us.

Thank you for the complement! Yeah I'm getting the error message when I post and at the top of the screen, this coupled with the "security certificate expired" screen on DCINB and I think the whole shooting match isn't long for this world.

BJ, I would believe it's Amazon's doing rather than Babz', she has no reason at this point, whereas Amazon has every desire to protect their investment.

They don't have a script or director yet. There is a rumour that Alfonso Cuaron is in talks to direct, and he has worked with Heyman before (on Prisoner of Azkaban and Gravity), but the script comes first. P&W wee apparently working on a script before the Brocolli buyout, so I wonder if they will use that as a first draft and then bring in their own writers to rewrite it. Again.

No more speculation. It is OFFICIAL: Producers Amy Pascal and David Heyman have accepted the mission. The announcement of their hiring was made Tuesday on Amazon's corporate news website. Both producers will work on the project through their respective production companies, Pascal Pictures and Heyman Films........look at how fast things are coming together with Broccoli out of the way. Just hope Pascal does not go woke as we do not trust her judgment. The new actor is coming as well I would guess.

Amy pascal is the worst piece of news. Last interview I saw with her was about Spider-Man no way home, she seemed drunk on camera, bragged about giving the young actors advice about dating and then took credit for all the work marvel did to make Spider-Man a success.
She is an awful hack of a producer. However Babs was real friendly with her and might have insisted she be brought in.
Real reason she might be there is her name is associated with CR, she was Sonys head when they had bailed mgm out and had temporary control of the productions, so were partners for Cr, QOS, , I can’t remember if skyfall was produced with Sony I think it was not but I’m not sure.
Odd thing about pascal apparently she talked with brosnan a week before Craig was officially announced and asked him to come back. So maybe she is not hopeless.

David Herman I don’t have a problem with at this point.

What really matters is who the director and writers are.
P&W might have dozens of scripted they sold EON so those could be sources, but I’d hope Amazon would start fresh, rehashed and rewritten scripts with multiple writing credits almost always suck .

I had wanted to say put had trouble posting just how remarkable it is Babs sold out.
Family motto was everything or nothing, cubby famously told the story about dumping a dump truck load of produce into the river instead of taking less than he wanted.
That’s how he ran bond.

Now Babs is spoiled. She never earned anything. Never understood the drive her dad had to stat successful. I can only guess Amazon called her BS and said everything or nothing, ok nothing. Amazon had the funds and influence to drive Babs under Hollywood sign. I really think that not only did Babs have zero interest in bond, she finally hit rock bottom and either takes the buyout or face ruin.

She played her cards the way she always did but this time she couldn’t get away with her antics. She pulled it off with Sony , she constantly bullied mgm , her family outright stole from mcclory (who I have no sympathy for, he was awful) , she pulled a stunt with Netflix when they tried to buy the rights to nttd during covid.
Before Amazon bought mgm she tried to sabotage their partnership with leaked anti Amazon stories in friendly press . I think she really thought her she’d pull it off again.

However babs real goal might be the buyout and if so, good riddance.

Kristatos wrote: Fri Mar 21, 2025 1:13 pm I've never heard of the website Puck, so I don't know if it's reliable or not, but apparently it is reporting that Amy Pascal and David Heyman have been selected by Amazon to produce the next Bond film. Heyman is probably best known as the producer of the Harry Potter films, and I'm guessing you all know who Pascal is.

I hope not given Pascal's background is superhero movies and Heyman's is fantasy and magic. On the face of it that doesn't look like a great recipe for exciting but vaguely plausible action flicks set in the real world.

Been trying to post this for ages as well. I wrote it before your comments, Omega.
