I 1000% agree, I'm willing to bet they had the "toxic bigot fans" bullet loaded up in the chamber pre covid for just such an occasion and I'm sure they'll still fire it off once this bombs.

The high chief was a popular wrestler back in the day. From wrestler to actor seems to be a vehicle for untalented people going to action films for a long time.

My doubts are two fold, one shed have to die in the film to still not be “007” this isn’t Craig/ bond getting his 00 job back again.
Second I could see Babs be “we couldn’t say anything, Lynch had the job, and we couldn’t say it. All the bookies were, all the speculation were wrong and we couldn’t say anything that would take away from the audiences experience of seeing the movie for the first time.”
Bottom line Something has to happen to the new 007 for Craig EMO bond or the new recast of janes bond to be in the job. I could see Babs happy to have 007 movies without the white male assuming 007 sell not janes bond, she made pos movies with pos actors and it hasn’t hurt her. Arguably she stoped making bond movies and made never say never again look cannon.

Btw all the talk they use the talking point about audience experience or see it before you judge it like they did for CR is just these sleaze bags cashing in on their fans/ and audience. Eon doesn’t give refunds. they were caught in collusion with the press for spectre some critics getting pissed their peers so willing went along with the studio and eons talking points never discussing the problems with the movie or trouble with the plot because of the Sony hack the media Industry felt the need to protect the franchises. And with covid will have the critics playing the same game and theater apologists insisting the comeback of box office is nigh

Weeelll...SPECTRE had a lacklustre 63% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, so the collusion doesn't seem to have done them much good.

It was the initial run up to the film script had leaked and major reviewers acted like there was an embargo talking about the bad points. There are a couple of early critics to call bs on it
Not a big deal but the entertainment media is very proactive when they think they need to be. One instance is when the narrative swapped between WTF was broccoli thinking bring that seasick actor on as bond, to right before the release to blitz like response to any nay sayers.

Eon always run a cute game of advertising dollars for positive spin up until the first weeks are in the bag. Or tabloids finding “forgotten” attaché case in the men’s room and returning it for special access on set.

But Disney is very heavy handed, so it’s amateur hour watching Babs buy favor in print media. Disney literally cripple the media Organization’s parent company who dares not play ball with them.

No Time to Die director Cory Joji Fukunaga has opened up about the movie's villain Safin, played by Rami Malek – and dispelled a popular theory.

"He’s not, as some have speculated, Dr. No," the filmmaker tells SFX in the new issue of the magazine, which features Dune on the cover.

While there are any number of skeletons Madeleine might be trying to usher back into her closet, several clues suggest the woman in Bond's life might be the daughter of his greatest enemy. Blofeld could be Madeleine Swann's real father. The "Madeleine Swann is Blofeld's daughter" suspicion has sparked into life thanks to No Time To Die's marketing material, specifically the footage recently shown as CinemaCon. Initial trailers had already teed-up a "secret" that Madeleine was hiding, but according to a description of the CinemaCon clip (which hasn't yet been aired publicly), Bond is chased through his Italian village by mystery assassins on motorbikes. He apprehends one who refers to Madeleine Swann as "daughter of SPECTRE." After picking up Madeleine in his classic Aston Martin DB5, Bond witnesses a phone call in which the man on the other end commends Madeleine for a job well done and insists her "father would be proud." That might be the least of Bond's inner conflicts, however, as No Time To Die rumors strongly suggest Bond and Madeleine have a baby of their own, creating the Jerry Springer-worthy scenario of James Bond's child having Blofeld as a grandpa. Given everything Christoph Waltz's villain put Daniel Craig through over the course of 5 movies, that revelation is sure to send James for a loop, and could explain why Blofeld promises Madeleine's secret will be the "death" of Bond. Blofeld terrorized James and infiltrated every facet of his existence. Bond believed he'd finally left that specter behind after quitting MI6, but now Blofeld has a constant presence in James' life, staring out through the eyes of his grandchild.

The Bond franchise has run out of ideas. What a lousy way for Craig’s Bond to go out. 0 out of 10.

holy s**t, "Days of Our Spies" turned up to eleven! My suspicion is she isn't Brofeld's daughter but rather a SPECTRE engineered clone created by Malek and raised by Mr. White. Her "proud father" could still be White. Either way it's still soap operatic bulls**t to the max!

THIS is what Broccoli believes viewers want to see in a Bond spy film DB. It is pathetic. Family secrets vs. saving the world plots?

There's another theory that Safin is a clone of Bond gone wrong. I shall refrain from commenting on any such theories until DB reports back from his ordeal.

*If* this rumour is true, it's more like the Stallone Dredd movie.
