For anyone with a Costco near y’all try the chicken bake. It is SO good-like a Stromboli but with chicken, bacon and ranch dressing. There are recipes online(and they sell ‘em in the frozen food section of Costco). Not healthy but it’s enough for 2 people!

MP, check this out......ROUND hot dogs :!: Image It might seem like sacrilege to sell hot dogs that are any shape but oblong. However, one enterprising New Jersey butcher shop claims to be reinventing the frankfurter with its new line of flat, round hot dogs, which it says can better retain condiments and reduces the likelihood of choking.

“We set out to improve the hot dog,” Rastelli’s said of the flat frankfurter, which they created in response to soaring customer demand for pre-cut dogs.

“Our customers were accustomed to slicing their hot dog down the middle before grilling to increase surface area for caramelization and flavor,” the meat merchant said of the squat dogs, which cost $18 for eight 3-oz patties online. “So when the really busy moms and dads asked if we had any pre-sliced hot dogs, we started thinking.”

I moved the last two posts here, as it seemed a more suitable home for them than the General Discussion thread.

I was watching some Jimmy Dean sausage commercials. It seems strange to call something sausage that is not sausage shaped.

Coffee with chicory is quite nice, and the one with just chicory is nice too - as are the other fake coffee drinks.

There’s a coffee place near where I live(Also a restaraunt) that sells coffee and everything coffee related(cups..did I mention I have a large coffee cup collection?) and one of the things they sell is..chicory! IDK if I could do DIY chicory coffee- don’t trust myself to get the amounts right. So K cups it is!

An excellent chilli for anyone interested. I add black beans and tomato puree. 👌

It was surprisingly OK and packed. The salad they give you is enough for 3 people but mostly lettuce. I had the eggplant parmesan after the calamari, minestrone soup and breadsticks.
