Welcome to the dark side of Disney. Didn’t bother anybody when it was just old Disney catalogue but now it is cinema lovers favorites
Disney plays hard ball monopolizing screen counts for every release to them it makes sense to restrict content to small theaters that fox saw as small windfalls playing old movies anyone could stream.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Disney wants to roll this kind of fox content in to Disney plus

I think the difference is that Disney's vault for its own films has been there as long as anyone can remember, whereas with the Fox films, the rules have suddenly changed, and cinema owners are finding that they can no longer show films that had been steady earners for years.

True. Actually it kind of pisses me off. There are a couple small local theaters that play old movies including fox movies. Probably more than I realized
It is a neat experience to make a date night to see a old movie we both like with the ambience of going to the movies with other fans looking to enjoy the experience instead of crowds of people going to new releases who some times get board and make distractions.

Oh for those with Vudu they have 40 years of bond for free, all 22 movie counting never say never again and casino royal 1967. Dr no to dad.
Catch is they have small ad breaks.
If you don’t have a Vudu account it’s free, and you can watch any of their free movies without buying anything. is it’s like iTunes or other sources where they want to sell you the digital movie too. If you have movies anywhere you can link accounts and watch the content you own on Vudu too.

Now in a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, it’s been revealed that No Time To Die is the most expensive Bond movie to date, with a ballooning budget of $250 million, topping Spectre’s initial costs by $5 million. Despite Lynch playing it coy, she did speak out on the negative reaction to the rumour that a black woman was taking on the 007 mantle from James Bond. The 31-year-old said: “It doesn't dishearten me. It makes me feel quite sad for some people because their opinions, they're not even from a mean place — they're actually from a sad place. It's not about me. People are reacting to an idea, which has nothing to do with my life."

"I didn't want someone who was slick. I wanted someone who was rough around the edges and who has a past and a history and has issues with her weight and maybe questions what's going on with her boyfriend," said Lynch, who worked closely with director Cary Fukunaga and screenwriter Phoebe Waller-Bridge to craft Nomi, who is a fellow MI6 agent.

"We had one conversation about her maybe being on her period in one scene, and maybe at the beginning of the scene — and I spoke to Cary about this — throwing her tampon in the [trash can]," she added.-------------what the hell is going on with EON :?: :!:

I'm pretty sure this is Lynch trolling the "he-man woman haters," who take exception to the much ado about nothing, concerning her taking up the 007 mantle.

Her comments are why we get knee jerk reactions,

sure eon is trolling for click bait and controversy because nobody really cares Craig came back, but long before they ever first trolled the audience with the initial revelation of a new 007 they were trying to include body image issues, boy friend trouble, and tampons.
The real reason they didn’t cast a make 007 is because they couldn’t be sure the audience wouldn’t cheer for the new guy. Instead eon goes back to the jinx model trying to check all the pc boxes they can, deciding black and female is a diverse as it gets (for 1978 maybe). This is their third try at introducing a black woman as a equal to bond, they screwed up with Harris so they try it again with lynch.

Halle Berry at least to me felt like she was cast because she was a beautiful woman who happens to be black, not cast because she was black. To me it was a more natural, progressive casting. Jinx could be any ethnicity and I would like to think Halle berry was chosen because she was talented not because of her race. Knowing eon it was probably the only reason they ever considered her.

If Broccoli is allowed to continue with this anti-Bond assault, this franchise is doomed, but the moronic masses will vindicate her stupidity and still show up at the box office unless they have finally had enough of this and will stay home :!:

Just read a review of Stewart Lee's new stand-up show that contains the following passage:
Witness Snowflake’s giddiest routine, which spoofs the cult of Phoebe Waller-Bridge. It’s a thrill to attend to this thought crime against bien pensant opinion, as Lee celebrates PWB’s discovery – for the first time in entertainment history – of direct audience address. He then segues into a section on the futility of laundering James Bond for the woke era, imagining the character transformed under Waller-Bridge’s influence into a genitally diminished spy who rapes aphids.

The writer and director, who wrote The Bourne Ultimatum, Contagion and The Informant, has revealed why fans of Daniel Craig will be particularly excited by the next chapter in the Bond franchise. Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk , Burns said: “I think Daniel [Craig] has been an incredible custodian of that character and I think for the people who like the direction he has taken it, they are going to really love what happens next.”

Yes! I for one can't wait until the scene where it's revealed Malik's charter is Dr. No and in fact Bond's second cousin three times removed, at which point Craig dons that tasteful checked dress he wore in 2011 and finishes what he started with Silva by fully coming out of the closet, before lecturing on the evils of western society as he did in Quantum, after which he bolts off crashing through the nearest wall!

I don’t like the movies he uses as references. Maybe they carry more clout other places
Custodian of the character? Wasn’t that supposed to be babs job?
What a crock, they left Craig’s bond stunted, he never actually does anything or is really developed. They retry the same story elements that were praised once for one movie again and again.
My bet they double down on story elements that do not belong in bond
