I think you're all making a bit too much of idle speculation from an entertainment website. I mean, they *could* do that, but they probably won't.

I agree, just some bloviating from an author who must have been not only born last night but also under a rock. Just months ago Babz stated unequivocally Bond would never be female. Now she could have been playing at semantics and she could change her mind, but to do so mere weeks later would be foolish. I do agree with the author that Lynch is playing an agent, perhaps even the one promoted to fill "Bond's" empty shoes, but to invoke the code name fan theory and suggest she could be taking over after Craig is mindless wishful thinking.

From the Daily Telegraph, an article entitled 'Why Do We All Want Bond 25 to Fail?' Sadly, it's hidden behind a paywall, but you can read the first paragraph or so: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/films/0/do- ... raigs-007/

As per a Fox News report, Samuel L. Jackson involved the British actor while discussing the future of his stint with MCU as Nick Fury. While interacting with Foxlight's Michael Tammero, the 70-year-old star said, "I'm not James Bond. I'm not looking for another job. I'm O.K. with being Nick Fury for however long they need me to be."

Good man. He doesn’t take work for granted. Though he doesn’t seem to have a creeper boss like DC. That probably helps too.

The Daily Mail article on Waltz returning has some funny comments:

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/a ... g-you.html

Who cares ???? This movie will be a disaster with an old age pensioner playing Bond ????

1. Spectre sucked. It is basically a remake of Austin Powers in Goldmember; 2. Daniel Craig as Roger Moore as Grandad Bond - no thanks; 3. Lea Seydoux as the first returning Bond girl - why? She sucked and so did her character, so many other women characters that would have been way more interesting to bring back; 4. WOKE script being praised by Naomi Harris who plays a secretary; 5. Endless reliance on Aston Martins and other stuff from the past instead of moving forward with new exciting stuff; 6. Now bland Dr. Evil Blofeld. This film looks worse by the minute. Fire Barbara Broccoli and get some better producers.

A movie executive has told Daily Mail‘s Baz Bamigboye: ”There’s unfinished business between Bond and Blofeld. If I told you any more, I’d have to kill you.” Someone on the picture mentioned that Blofeld’s ‘pretty p***ed’ about what Bond and Madeleine Swann (played by Lea Seydoux) did to him in Spectre. Image

The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......

Funny how the plaid leakers and paid PR people try to write with excitement but the rest of the public is confused as to why they should care, it’s not endgame spoilers, it not the next phase of marvel, DC , GOT, or new Netflix series, it predictable Craig with the same predictable people doing the same predictable things.

This is something cubby never did. He was a much better show man even if he was a industry hack

The odds of this being genuinely surprising are not good. I do hope it's not just going to be a straight rehash of OHMSS, but that seems to be the way they're heading, with a bit of DAD thrown in (villain disfigured by Bond seeks revenge).

I think it will be very predictable, even to waltz appearance. If it’s not disjointed in time true detective style it’ll be a disappointment to me.
If it’s not a Spy who loved me POV shift and disjointed in time it’ll be boringly predictable. Only say that because it’s be more refreshing to have an adventure that’s actually an adventure where bond and Felix go out on a boat to fix the random bad guys (dr in a lab that blew up pinewood studios) without sulking about how much they hate their nations and have mrs bond at home with Johnny cash flashback scenes of all our favorite Oscar guest stars, I mean villains.
If it’s brotherfeld back for vengeance it’s doomed to be, a mix of OHMSS-YOLT-DAD.
