Dreamt they were doubling down going all in 'Craig 4 Eva', releasing a trailer that was more SNL improve that scripted. Directly tackling all the criticisms of Daniel to the point of having a "little person" talking about how tall he was. They had no script and didn't care.
Perhaps it was a premonition.

I dreamt that in a next Craig Bond movie they had claimed they were overhauling the dialog, apparently in an attempt to make it more realistic and improved. The parts of the movie I saw had some henchmen repeating a two or three word phrase in (I think) Italian, over and over again, with no subtitles, rendering it completely unintelligible and pointless. As for Craig himself, he barely spoke a word of English either, resorting instead to lots of murmuring like "Mmhmm. Uh huh." I remember thinking something along the lines of how laughable their so-called overhaul was.

Could this be another premonition, Blowfeld?

Eerie this! Saturday morning I had a Bond dream where they were cobbling together bits of cut film from Daniel's previous to make 'new' material for Bond 25. There was no sound! You've given me the dialogue!

Funny, I was thinking about this thread the other day. I did have a Bond-related dream a couple of nights back, but I can't remember it. Ever have one of those dreams that's incredibly fresh in your memory when you first wake up, but which then fades away almost immediately?

Yeah I get that sometimes although I often find something later will jog my memory about it when I've stopped trying to remember! Like you say, I usually remember dreams if I think about them immediately after waking up.

I've had a couple of weird ones. Last night I dreamt that Connery's Bond was undercover as what seemed to be a reclusive Chinese philosopher or monk, living at the top of a mountain. He was visited by a wealthy industrialist who was trying to strike a deal offering vast sums of money. Bond confirmed that the wealthy villain wanted to pay him in exchange for polluting the earth and sky and asked why he would want this when he already had such great wealth right here? He drew their attention up to an old tree on top of the mountain which had strange, glowing pods or flowers on it almost like gemstones or some kind of lanterns (I told you it was weird!). I can't remember exactly what happened next, whether Bond attacked the villain or the tree somehow bit back :? but next the villain started to slip and roll down the rocky side of the mountain. This was all a PTS and I even caught the tail end of the gun barrel sequence where it's just the circle moving over the black background before it started. After that this dream morphed into something completely unrelated, with different characters, that I think belonged more with the Terminator franchise!

Another one, some time ago, was Moore's Bond and Halle Berry (so presumably a return of the Jinx character *groans*) in an alpine mountain scene this time but the weird bit was it had been screwed around with in post production so that their faces were depicted with just a very few bright colors - a sort of poster effect and their faces were shown very large above the moutains, possibly even in the air. I can see this might be done for part of a title sequence but weirdly I don't think it was - I think it was actually a sequence in the movie! I think I'm just going to blame some of Saint's artwork for this one! :)

Had a dream that EON were trying to be clever by giving a clue to the title of Bond 25, rather than just releasing it in a press conference. I can't remember what the title was, but the clue turned out to be an anagram that took about two seconds to solve.

Not a Bond dream, but an Ian Fleming dream. His biography has obviously lodged itself in my subconscious, as I had a dream last night that invented a whole load of incidents in his life that never happened in real life - including an accident in which he lost a hand, and had to write with a specially modified typewriter!

Had a dream last night about an extended trailer for Bond 25. Some, uh, highlights: There was a scene in a casino where Bond, pretending to be drunk, "accidentally" knocks over a bunch of drinks, then drops a lit cigarette into them to start a fire. And talking of cigarettes, Bond had one from Q which, when lit, somehow turned into a projector, beaming out a video message from M (still played by Judi Dench in my dream). Oh, and Kyle McLachlan played an FBI agent. At one point, he broke cover and revealed his real name to Bond. I remember saying out loud "Aww, I thought he was going to say Dale Cooper - that would have been all sorts of awesome." A Bond/Twin Peaks crossover would certainly be...interesting!

Well at least that's some fresh ideas, Kris. :)

I've had a couple of somewhat less original dreams with Sir Roger's Bond.

The first was basically an odd role reversal of the FYEO pre-title helicopter sequence, where for some reason, Blofeld was inside the helicopter and Bond was standing on the ground - on an airfield - I think it was actually an air show - with the remote control, performing all sorts of loops and acrobatics. Somehow I can't see his Bond ever being quite that sadistic, even to Blofeld.

The second dream involved Bond and Zorin. I can only think it must have been a prequel to AVTAK. Walken was looking about the same age as he did in AVTAK whereas Moore looked maybe five years older. There was a scene with Zorin working as an employee for a company that was supposed to be decommissioning an old nuclear power station and demolishing the surrounding buildings, which had an unusual 1970s architecture. Basically the company was completely ignoring any concerns for safety or regulations as a way to make money out of it and Zorin was being the most reckless of all. I saw him involved in smashing bits of concrete off an elevated corridor that went between two buildings. He was working from inside the corridor, letting the rubble plummet to the ground below! He got told off by the boss for not wearing a hard hat (Not Bond this time! ) and got very angry. Bond and Zorin first faced off in a hotel and there was quite a bit of dialog I can't remember. Later in the dream Bond and Zorin were fighting - this time not on the Golden Gate bridge but on what looked like the frame underneath a pier. Zorin threw Bond off the side but he implausibly caught a length of rope hanging off the frame, then wrapped it around the frame in an excessively elaborate way before climbing back up it! Later Bond found an envelope stuck inside the top of a mail box which had a coded address on the front which helped him track Zorin down. I think he possibly found it using a geiger counter as the power station had contaminated everything on the site.

I have a recurring dream I am interviewing MGW on the set of the new Bond movie after a new 007 actor has been cast, I have no inkling as to the actor, in the dream I am nervous because this not my scene at all. Rather stay cloistered with my books than chance gaining any amount of notoriety, especially where Ms Broccoli and her brother are concerned. In this dream MGW is always nice, what changes is the hostility level from Ms. Broccoli, in the most recent dream she is polite, well at least pleasant with somebody she has to resent for keeping in her way all these years. The conversations with them were about the series, past fans like us enjoy and where the new series was going using the key elements of the original series. No detail from this dream just the extremely odd recurring dream.

Had another dream in which a Craig Bond film was actually enjoyable. Shame this never happens when I'm awake! In this one, I was watching the M briefing scene, but instead of the usual government minister or senior civil servant being introduced to Commander Bond, the briefing was with a bunch of laptop-wielding consultants who looked like they were fresh out of college. The result was like a less sweary version of The Thick of It, and a lot of fun.

I just had a dream I was watching a new Bond movie in a cinema, though at first I couldn't really tell if it was an EON Bond movie or an independent documentary about Bond. The titles were ornate full screens of static white on black text, making it look like an old silent movie. As I first saw the lead role, I didn't think it was supposed to be Bond. I think the actor was a well-known TV presenter with a very bland, average appearance, dressed in dull, casual clothes. That's why at first I assumed they were presenting a documentary. They were taller and much skinnier than Craig - thinner than any of the other Bond actors, probably. They had quite big ears from what I can remember and their hair was a much paler blond than Craig's.

As the movie went on it still wasn't clear if this character was a fully experienced James Bond or rather an average civilian that had somehow got caught up in a Bondian spy caper. They had an open-top red Aston Martin that looked most like the V8 but I think not exactly like it. My memory of what happened is a little hazy but I think the Bond girl - actually a middle-aged woman that seemed to be in a long term relationship (a marriage?) with Bond (or is it not-Bond?) - she turned out to be a double agent. I saw her sabotaging a kitchen appliance that was obviously one of Bond's gadgets. After that there was a scene where for some reason Bond was planning to destroy his Aston Martin. :( I can only imagine he must have been trying to fake some of the double agent's actions to mislead her superiors. At the end of the dream I remember him saying something ridiculous like "Well, I do like Aston Martins, but it's for the best..." or "but it's a good thing"!

Could this be a premonition of Bond 26? I doubt it, as I'm sure Babz will be hanging onto Craig. Maybe Bond 36...

Dreamt last night that I was watching NTTD. EON hadn't released the theme song in advance, so this was my first time hearing it. As I listened, I thought "I can understand why they didn't let the public hear this stinker before."

Also, Robbie Coltrane was back as Valentin Zukovsky, with no explanation as to how he survived his apparent death in TWINE.

A few months ago as production of No Time for Bond was beginning I dreamt the official EON PR department released a statement announcing Daniel passed away on set. It was done because publicity was not going the way they wanted. EON released a fake statement and thought they would be able to walk it back as a mistake by the department all in the name of free publicity.
A few weeks later Kris posted a link to celebrity death story trying to involve 007. I almost posted this dream then however forgot all about it until now.

Dreamt I was watching No Time for Bond in theatres, Daniel was hardy in the movie, a few cameo like scenes, more a backdrop there for other actions scenes to be set around for what would be secondary characters in ordinary Bond films. Daniel would be panting his house or something else equally mundane, secondary character stops by then rushes off for a stunt sequence.

Weird bond dream, NTTD opens up but is struggling EON put some promotion in place where kids in the pg13 rating can buy a ticket and get credit towards the arcade. No clue if arcades are a big deal at movie theaters like when me and my brothers were growing up.

Just a nonsense dream

Interesting, I remember arcade games in multiplexes in the fairly recent past, but I'm not sure if they're still a thing.
