Prepare for your perfect #MeToo Bond film where Bond is emasculated and constantly berated by the feminazis, written by super feminazi Phoebe Waller-Bridge. The Captain Marvel/Brie Larson of the Bond franchise. Barbara Broccoli's plan to destroy "the male ego" and "toxic masculinity" from within is working perfectly. Keep it up, Babs. Keep it up.
I think that ship sailed a long time ago, with the "sexist, misogynist dinosaur" comment in Goldeneye. Personally, I'm more concerned by this:

‘Daniel’s writing. Cary’s writing. The crew reckon they’re working on a well-polished s*** show. They have an outline of plot, but dialogue is all last-minute. It’s not the way to make a movie. I would imagine they’ll sort it out in the cutting room. That’s where most movies get made anyway. But you’d think the Bond lot would be more together.’

It's QOS all over again.

what got me was reluctant bond playing reluctant bond.

The crap about Craig writing is laughable. The crew thinking it’s a s**t show make me think again of the infighting at eon.

The feminist writer brought in you can see how effective she’ll be at their goal when all she can do is repeat phrases already approved by eon. No way any modern feminist thinks the bond girls and recent roles are any thing to brag about or worth mentioning other than it’s a eon talking point for almost 30 years.
I think eon wants praise for dr mrs bond, but it’s still a pathetic character.
I still think she (phoebe whoever the hell) is brought in to do a spy who loved me treatment in the original Fleming book written from the woman’s POV.

I can not even read all the feminazi clap trap coupled with #MeToo's "every man is there to get me" mentality.
Not to mention the same old dull conversation about Bond being a depressed sad wreck with flaws.
Mooooving on. Hopefully.
I don know, I just might enjoy the theme song. If they hire someone suitable this time around(not Sam Smith) that is.

We are supposed to be awed that a female producer is so bold and forward thinking to do this to an established franchise. God knows Kathleen Kennedy tried and thinks what the movie world needed was her with a chip on her shoulder. Maybe she pissed at the SW fans who upset poor George Lucas by calling out his BS special edition shenanigans and piss poor prequels. It’s ultimately why George sold to Disney.
Babs is pissed off at the fans who dared to call her out on the BS of not just hiring Craig but disrespecting the characters Ian Fleming created and history of her fathers franchise.
Keeping Craig on is Either to spite the opposing voices of fans, inside eon, studios who opposed her hiring Craig or she a simple minded woman who’s been enthralled by a B list actor.
Even fan boys who at the star of all of this worshiped Craig as better than Connery can see its past time for him to leave. Even to people way on the outside of this, not following what the history is, can see Craig doesn’t want to do this, hates doing this and hates the franchise. Honestly except for a few months in early 2006 his never really acted otherwise. He’s been very clear that bond is beneath him sure he’ll eventually say the right words at a press events but without fail he’ll lash out at the franchise in some way.
Craig was supposed to be some genius, nuanced actor who could bing bond to life as never before, he hasn’t, he’s played the same miserable character without any of qualities Fleming’s James Bond had, like humor, chivalry, honor, devotion, patriotism, to name a few.
I think challenging the status quo is why so many praised Craig at first, ignoring the flaws in the performance. Now for many people this bond is status quo, I think that’s going to bite them in the end.

Fantastic just what we've been waiting for, another origin story, with the added benefit of it involving a character nobody cares about!

I think it was Ian Dunross who said it on his site: "I can't wait for the day they create a granddaughter for Colthorpe the ballistics expert from the Man With The Golden Gun and we learn her origins!"

Craig hurts his ankle. That stunt double with the rubber mask will have to more work.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/a ... maica.html
Production for the upcoming James Bond movie has reportedly been suspended after Daniel Craig injured his ankle.
The English actor, 51, is said to have hurt himself whilst filming the upcoming movie - currently dubbed Bond 25 - in Jamaica.
Bring back Bond!

Well at least they'll have some time to write that script now! Also didn't the exact same thing happen on EON's other project "The Rhythm Section" postponing it indefinitely?

This comes via The Sun, who report that Craig’s been flown to the U.S. for X-rays. “He was sprinting during filming when he slipped and fell quite awkwardly,” says their unnamed source. “He was in quite a lot of pain and was complaining about his ankle.”

He must not trust Jamaican doctors. If anything is broken, it could be months of delays.

I'm pretty sure he could afford the most expensive doctors, wherever he is.

Funny “he fell awkwardly” he runs awkwardly too.

Did I miss where he left Jamaica to get treatment? I saw pinewood delays for the next week of filming because Danny goes boom then throws his jacket

They'll be re-re-rewriting the story to accommodate Craig's injury.

That or it's footage of Craig heading to the hospital for those X-rays!

Broccoli will personally oversee and massage Cr-egg's foot until he gets better. She has a foot fetish for his tootsies too :!:---------------- “Things were deemed to be a disaster at first,” the source said. “But the injury is not as severe as believed, and he will be able to film while not over-exerting his ankle. He will be back on set within the week.”

I'd like Craig to get special treatment from Dr No (the fictional character not the CNB poster!).

I read this article about Craig arguing on set.

https://www.express.co.uk/entertainment ... ga-Jamaica

The comments below made me laugh where a poster said:

"I don't know what the fuss is about with Daniel Craig. When I look at him, I see a plumber, maybe a plumber acting suave and cool, with an occasional deadly look on his face. I'm not convinced."

The article states Seydoux appreciates his "uncompromising nature," speaks volumes to her ideas on compromise!

That sounds like one of those euphemisms they use in obituaries, like when they say someone "didn't suffer fools gladly".
