Hillary Clinton reportedly helped protect a senior adviser to her 2008 presidential campaign after accusations that he repeatedly sexually harassed a young subordinate.

The New York Times reported Friday on the incident, revealing how Clinton allegedly intervened to help keep the adviser, Burns Strider, on board.

According to the Times, the complaint was made by a 30-year-old Clinton staffer who shared an office with Strider. She reportedly told a campaign official that Strider had rubbed her shoulders inappropriately, kissed her on the forehead and sent suggestive emails.

Clinton’s 2008 campaign manager, Patti Solis Doyle, reportedly recommended Clinton fire him. But sources told The Times he was kept on the campaign at Clinton's request.

Instead, Strider was ordered to receive counseling and lost several weeks of pay, while the young woman was shifted to a new role. Image

An FBI informant involved in the controversial Uranium One deal has told congressional committees that Moscow paid millions to a U.S. lobbying firm in a bid to influence then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton by helping former President Bill Clinton’s charities during the Obama administration. The Hill first reported late Wednesday that informant Douglas Campbell gave a 10-page statement to the Senate Judiciary Committee, House Intelligence Committee and House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, and was interviewed for several hours behind closed doors by committee staff. :cuss: Campbell said Russian executives told him that Moscow was hiring APCO Worldwide in an effort to influence the Obama administration and Hillary Clinton. Campbell said Russian nuclear officials “told me at various times that they expected APCO to apply a portion of the $3 million annual lobbying fee it was receiving from the Russians to provide in-kind support for the Clinton’s Global Initiative. The contract called for four payments of $750,000 over twelve months,” Campbell said in the statement. “APCO was expected to give assistance free of charge to the Clinton Global Initiative as part of their effort to create a favorable environment to ensure the Obama administration made affirmative decisions on everything from Uranium One to the US-Russia Civilian Nuclear Cooperation agreement.”

Not a surprise. I’d bet the same people were making generous donations to the bush family too, only difference if they were out of power

Is that a joke? Half of those people I never heard of and more than half of the complaint seem out of a episode of Person of Interest.

The only complaint that I didn’t know about was the phishing of Bernie Sanders donors, only reason I believe this I remember reports of hinky Hillary fund raising that had to be refunded to the donors credit cards. Very close to a scam where they tried to keep charging low dollar amounts every month and not be noticed on the billing statement.

No idea. It may be thrown out of court. I know it's not the first fraud lawsuit to be filed against the DNC.

imo they loaded it with as many charges in hopes of finding standing to proceed. Might backfire.
Other odd thing is if those phishing fraud charges are true wouldn’t the FBI be investigating? Although given the people hired to maintain the DNC and congressional computer system they seem crooked as can be.

Best thing for the democrats would be to let the suit happen and purge the old guard. Donna Brazile has the right idea, but the party seems stuck rehashing 2016.

Hillary Clinton's visit to India suffered another setback this week as the former secretary of state fractured her wrist after slipping in the bathtub  at the five-star resort where she was staying, according to a report by DNA India................Earlier in the week, video showed Clinton slipping on stairs twice  as she visited the Jahaz Mahal in the ancient city of Mandu. Clinton appeared to use her right had to catch herself on the stairs, but it was not immediately clear whether this fall was the source of her injury.

She is not well. Just from seeing that seizure on 9/11/16 it was very clear she was seriously ill.

Kind of reficulious the same media that hyperventilate over trumps health say there’s nothing to see here.

Hillary is still a campaigning tool for Republicans in the midterms: https://slate.com/news-and-politics/201 ... oters.html

You wouldn't normally see campaign ads featuring a losing presidential candidate two years later, but most losing presidential candidates have the good sense to go away after losing.

A new ABC report indicates that a draft DOJ internal report states that James Comey overstepped his authority as former FBI director.

It also states that Attorney General Loretta Lynch’s handling of the Clinton email case was rebuked by Inspector General Michael Horowitz.

ABC News writes:

“The Justice Department’s internal watchdog has concluded that James Comey defied authority at times during his tenure as FBI director, according to sources familiar with a draft report on the matter.”

ABC also explains that according to one source, the draft report said Comey was “insubordinate.”

The other bombshell in the report contains criticism of Loretta Lynch for the way in which she handled the Clinton email case: “Inspector General Michael Horowitz also rebuked former Attorney General Loretta Lynch for her handling of the federal investigation into Hillary Clinton‘s personal email server, the sources said.”

As many as 40 state-level Democratic parties may have been involved in a scheme to funnel as much as $84 million to Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign, a campaign finance lawyer contends :!:

Dan Backer, an attorney based in Virginia, has filed a lawsuit alleging that a plan was in place to circumvent campaign contribution limits set by the federal government, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported.

“You had individuals giving $300,000,” Backer told the newspaper Friday. “They’re not doing it because they care about Nevada’s or Arkansas’ state party. They’re doing it to curry favor with and buy influence with Hillary Clinton.”

A Chinese state-owned company reportedly hacked former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s email server, then inserted code that forwarded them a copy of virtually every email she sent or received after that -- a revelation President Trump is demanding be investigated.

The Daily Caller reported that the firm operating in the D.C. area wrote code that was then embedded in the server and generated a “courtesy copy” for almost all her emails -- which was then forwarded to the Chinese company :!: :!: :cuss: The chinese have her 33.000 deleted emails :!:

So apparently Hillary went down to Florida to stump for a Democratic candidate down there, Gollum or something, and his poll numbers immediately dropped 6%. Some people just can't take a hint.

There is a reason presidential losers usually stay away from politics afterwards. Even gore has a limit to his sphere of influence. She lost and has been bitter about it since 8pm election night 2016 and thinks everyone else is a upset as her friends.

If she and Obama had quietly gone away including the, Clinton funded fbi investigation into trump, the Democrat party would have viable candidates right now. The old faithfuls are losing to upstarts from the fringe. Same things is happening Republicans except their voters are determined to send a message and some Republicans know it, Democrats seem to be under a delusion that they only lost because of happenstance. Normally the Democrats regroup after a loss but since 2016 seem determined that if they relive it over and over someday they will win.
