I think obi wan is more of a possibility as they have a actor already in the role , fett was supposed to be green lighted. Notice the last Jedi directors promised trilogy isn’t materializing.Kristatos wrote:I think it had too much stacked against it. Numerous explanations have been offered for its failure, personally I don't believe it was down to any one single factor, more like "all of the above". I doubt we'll be seeing those Boba Fett and Obi-Wan prequels now.Omega wrote: Shame of it is solo is not a bad SW movie but then again it’s not really moving either, by the end you do end up liking the new han and chewie,
I don’t think audiences were eager for a solo origins story, if ford had come back and done a movie I think it would have done real well .
In some ways the build up to solo reminds me of John carter, except John carter they wanted to die. The solo change of directors and reshoot late upto the release date then the promo that really didn’t sell us on the idea of young Han Solo . The new solo actor was not brought out to sell the movie well not as much as Lando.
They should have paused the release and production until they got it right.
It was a good movie that felt like it belonged in the sw universe but it didn’t wow or hold the excitement most Sw movies do
