North Korea released three American prisoners and handed them over to U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Wednesday, clearing a major obstacle to an unprecedented summit between President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. The men, who were freed after Pompeo met Kim, were on the way home from Pyongyang on the chief U.S. diplomat’s plane. The president planned to greet them when they land at Andrews Air Force Base outside Washington at around 2 a.m. EDT Thursday morning.      It's all Trump :!: They will maintain the House of Reps and will add seats in the Senate :!: :!: :!: Book it :!: Nobodoy Does It Better :!: Oh-bama was a rancid waste of ineptitude and corruption :!: Results :!:

CNN poll: Democrats' 2018 advantage is nearly gone :!:
The generic congressional ballot has continued to tighten, according to a new CNN poll conducted by SSRS, with the Democrats' edge over Republicans within the poll's margin of sampling error for the first time this cycle. About six months out from Election Day, 47% of registered voters say they back the Democratic candidate in their district, 44% back the Republican. Voters also are divided almost evenly over whether the country would be better off with the Democrats in control of Congress (31%) or with the GOP in charge (30%). How? they are opting out of sending information to the feds

I agree there are actually a lot of parts of California that do not agree with the very far left who run the state its just on state wide initiatives the population centers carry the day, just like in Colorado where Denver and other cities decide the policies for ranchers in rural areas.

NY Times David Brooks, a never Trumper now gets it :!: ------'There is growing reason to believe that Donald Trump understands the thug mind a whole lot better than the people who attended our prestigious Foreign Service academies.

The first piece of evidence is North Korea. When Trump was trading crude, back-alley swipes with “Little Rocket Man,” Kim Jong-un, about whose nuclear button was bigger, it sounded as if we were heading for a nuclear holocaust led by a pair of overgrown prepubescents.

In fact, Trump’s bellicosity seems to have worked. It’s impossible to know how things will pan out, but the situation with North Korea today is a lot better than it was six months ago. Hostages are being released, talks are being held. There seems to be a chance for progress unfelt in years.'

Former San Francisco mayor Willie Brown, a staunch Democrat, also now gets it :!: ----'Like it or not, a significant number of Americans are actually happy these days. They are making money. They feel safe, and they agree with with the president’s protectionist trade policies, his call for more American jobs, even his immigration stance.

The jobs growth reports, the North Korea summit and the steady economy are beating out the Stormy Daniels scandal and the Robert Mueller investigation in Middle America, hands down.

Rather than stoking the base by attacking Trump, Democrats need to come up with a platform that addresses the average voters’ hopes and concerns. Not just the needs of underdogs or whatever cause happens to be the media flavor of the week.

Democrats need to look like the adults, not like another pack of screaming kids on the playground.'

Well, then it's lucky that everything the Trump campaign did was completely legal and above board, otherwise they might get a bit worried.

Top Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham is pressing Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein on whether the Justice Department official should recuse himself from the Robert Mueller investigation due to his own connections to the case.

In a letter obtained by Fox News, Graham, R-S.C., asked Rosenstein whether he considers himself a “potential witness” in the Mueller probe in connection with the firing of FBI Director James Comey.

“If so, should you recuse yourself from further interactions with and oversight of the Mueller investigation?” Graham asked.

Tell ALE to read this :!: ------In a blog post, Zogby, who co-writes the weekly Trump report card for Secrets, noted that more and more Americans believe they are increasingly better off since the president took office. Citing those results in new surveys, Democratic pollster John Zogby is declaring that Trump will be tough to beat in 2020 despite his high disapproval ratings. “More than two in three (68 percent) tell the pollsters that the economy is strong, while 32 percent say it is weak – and this includes 76 percent of men, 61 percent of women, 64 percent or more of all age groups, 57 percent and 58 percent of Hispanics and African Americans respectively, and 63 percent of political moderates,” blogged Zogby citing a new Harvard University-Harris poll.

“More voters say they are doing better off in their personal financial situation (31 percent) or about the same (38 percent) than the one in four (25 percent) who say they are doing worse off. The ‘better off’ crowd includes the 30 percent of Hispanics and 33 percent of African Americans,” added Zogby on the Forbes website.

That is some left-wing website you look at Kris. Bottom line, the Democratic Party here will NOT gain control of either the Senate nor the House Of Representatives in November. They are as out of touch with reality as are the liberals Pelosi and Schumer here represent.

I think the author of the article would agree with you. He seems to think that the Dems are going to lose again in November, and possibly 2020 as well (as do I).

Alice Marie Johnson, the woman whose sentence President Donald Trump commuted, said she is "just so thankful" to Trump.

"Thank you, President Trump for really seeing me, not just looking at some data about my crime, but actually looking at the person who I have become now and having faith that I deserved a second chance in life," Johnson said on CNN's "New Day" Thursday morning. "President Trump made me having a wonderful life possible, and I'm just so thankful to him."

A pair of Norwegian lawmakers have nominated President Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize after he signed an agreement with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on Tuesday to work toward the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula :!:   Despite the negative and often unhinged coverage of President Donald Trump and his administration from the mainstream media, Trump actually has a higher approval rating than his predecessor former President Barack Obama had at this point in his presidency. Talk about a mainstream media narrative fail. In June of 2010, then-President Obama had a 41% low approval rating, with Rasmussen polling showing his disapproval ranging from 54-57%. Rasmussen, which tracks Trump’s daily approval, found Trump’s approval between 47-49 percent last week. With a booming economy — including stock market highs, climbing consumer confidence, and record low unemployment numbers, particularly for minorities — and much promise showing on the international front, at this point in his presidency President Trump is outperforming his predecessor in the polls, which have often proven to undersell Trump's actual support. ---------ALE and her minions will be on a triple dose of antidepressants after this :!: Image
