I saw her 10 years ago at Chiller Theatre in the afternoon groups and she looked spaced out sitting there behind her table signing autographs.

Could be antidepressants. I know she battled with depression for much of her life.

This is what I was afraid of. How the failure of three Disney movies is leading the studio towards a play-it-safe approach: http://www.denofgeek.com/uk/movies/disn ... ged-disney

One thing I’ll say they miss is how Disney buying the marvel and star wars franchises changed their game plan. And the fact Disney still make small children’s movie that cross over to the general market

If fans annoy Craig he should simply leave the Bond role and he will quickly return to obscurity.

Yeah, they didn't even mention the persistent rumours that Disney deliberately spiked John Carter after they bought Star Wars, so as not to have two overlapping sci-fi franchises.

Probably ignored it since those rumors do not help their point, I don’t think saying Disney might have spiked JC hurts their premise of Disney’s consistent string of billion dollar hits changed how they as a studio take risks on unknown properties.
but Hollywood was stuck in the remake rut long before Disney changed the game by becoming the most successful studio in the business. The way Disney did it was counter intuitive to how Hollywood was making movies for the last 20 years, the marvel universe as sold by Disney was supposed to be unmarketable, audiences wanted dark and gritty, the days of classic feel good blockbusters were over. Even when the mgm and eon talk about bond in board meetings the use phrasing from the marvel business, “phase” this or that are buzz words in Hollywood at the moment.

I do hate that the tron sequel was killed basically because of Johnny Depps ego trip. And that the flavor of movie Disney will take a risk on is the flavor of Tomorrowland and a wrinkle in time.
But they still cater to the children’s market some with some surprising stuff but it more in the classic disney line than anything else.

I’m kind of worried about Disney getting control of all the Fox titles and studio. I hope they’d run it as separate entity not restrained by their Disney image.

Have you seen enough of this royal wedding already and the media's fawning over Meghan and Harry? This Harry still looks like an immature doltish child and his older new wife is miles ahead of him in maturity. The liberal media actually believes the world cares about this stuff. It's quite possible there will be trouble in paradise sooner rather than later with these two. Harry's axons and dendrites don't seem to fire properly and he is one of the most inconsequential people ever in world power talk.
