The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows that 51% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Forty-eight percent (48%) disapprove.

The latest figures include 33% who Strongly Approve of the way Trump is performing and 38% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -5. (see trends).

This is the president’s best overall job approval rating since April of last year. President Obama earned a 46% job approval rating on April 4, 2010, his second year in office.

Officials in New York seized "privileged communications" between Michael Cohen and his clients, his lawyer said after the raid   on Monday.
Documents regarding a payment to a porn actress were also seized, US media say. Law enforcement acted on a "referral" from Special Counsel Robert Mueller  :hair: :hair: , who is investigating suspected Russian meddling in the 2016 election. Mr Cohen has come under increasing public scrutiny since he admitted to making a $130,000 (£92,000) payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, just days before the 2016 presidential election.

Am I the only person who tunes out as soon as they hear the name Mueller? I think it's all the Hillbots endlessly tweeting about how his every fart is the final straw that will definitely bring down Trump this time, blah blah rinse and repeat.

It was all Rosenstein, who is covering his ass for his Uranium One involvement. Rosenstein's days are numbered in government.

China's President Xi Jinping appeared to strike a conciliatory tone during a speech Tuesday where he promised to cut China's auto import tariffs and ease restrictions on foreign ownership in its auto industry as tensions play out with Washington over tariffs. Xi made no direct mention of the dispute with President Donald Trump but pledged to open China's markets further and improve conditions for foreign companies. :hi: China charges total duties of 25 percent on most imported cars -- a 10 percent customs tariff plus a 15 percent auto tax. Since December 2016, Beijing also has charged an additional 10 percent on "super-luxury" vehicles priced above $200,000.

no I don’t bother keeping up with his investigation or all the gotcha trump news because the political meme is this is it trump is done, yet the same people would report the same news as a non event if it were president Clinton instead of trump. Stormy hooker or wherever her name is will not hurt trump, even if the worst is true. Simply because of our leadership left and right only trump is representing average people the system forgot. The democrats and republicans are obeying their corporate masters and billionaire special interests.
Trump is not bullet proof but 98% of the crap the political party’s and media think are damning are just almost a nonevent when it’s trump, we honestly imagine much worse happened and don’t care.

not so sure didn’t bill Clinton used to deduct them as a business expense? :)

The search was probably improper anyway, but the reason they did it was the assumed trump and his lawyers were stupid enough to have written down “hey let’s use campaign money to pay off the blackmail” “our pals in the Ukraine said they’d get the bill”
I get why they thought they had the reach to do it but it cements muller as a hack for the deep state. most people believe his investigation is biased and unfair anyway. IMHO it’s easy to convince people it is unfair because most people live in fear some tentacle of government will come after them for something minor from local cops and city councils to the irs and state government, modern government does not have the kind face of the nanny state our politicians want to believe it is.

Imho What Stormy forgot is she has exposed herself as an extortionist, if she thinks infamy will protector her from the law I’m not so sure Trump or his DOJ will do the usual Washington shuffle trying to ignor scandals.

Mueller is looking for anything he can find to nail Trump :!: He could care less about the hooker. He wants tax returns, etc., and will look anywhere he can. I want the Inspector General's report released already exposing the corruption at the FBI :!:

Russia collusion was the reason Mueller was hired. He has nothing. The investigation should be over.-----------The top Republican on the House Intelligence Committee says he is prepared to impeach the head of the FBI and Deputy Attorney General if he doesn’t get a "two-page" document he says prompted the Russia investigation.

“Just the fact that they're not giving this to us tells me there's something wrong here,” California Republican Rep. Devin Nunes told Fox News host Laura Ingraham on the The Ingraham Angle Tuesday night.

“I can tell you that we're not just going to hold in contempt, we will have a plan to hold in contempt and to impeach,” Nunes told Ingraham, who asked what his committee would do to FBI Director Christopher Wray and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein if they don’t bow to his demand. ‘We are going to get the document,” Nunes said Tuesday, indicating he will move to impeach Rosenstein, who is overseeing the Mueller investigation and Wray if it isn’t delivered.

“We are going to get the two pages. So they can either cough them up now or it will get really complicating starting tomorrow night and we’ll have to take all the necessary steps to get the documents.” -------------- This FBI is so corrupt at the top it's criminal :!:

sorta, except they usually have strict guidelines on how to proceed and what they can investigate. Different divisions investigate certain things. They can’t go fishing endlessly for a crime. If it were that easy the mafia would of been rolled up long ago.

Special prosecutors or whatever they are called now should have limits, they should have to go back for permission to investigate another angle if they find any, they are not internal affairs in a Dirty Harry movie. They also should have a crime to investigate to start with, collusion whatever that means in any sense of the word is not actually a crime.

Gagliano, criminal investigator, undercover agent, supervisory special agent, SWAT team leader, member of the FBI’s Hostage Rescue Team, acting legal attaché at the U.S. embassy in Mexico City, head of a bureau satellite office, and now CNN contributor, says he was once a “mild fan” of Comey, but has been unhappy with the former director’s decision to venture into the public eye, writing a tell-all book and promoting it on a highly visible press tour.

“This current effort to meet the president in the public square, at his own game of slinging mud and punching and contributing smugness to the debate, it’s a bad look for him,” Gagliano says. “I think it’s going to diminish the FBI, and I think it’s going to diminish whatever’s left of Comey’s reputation.”

Former special agent Bobby Chacon, who now works in Hollywood as a technical advisor and story consultant, has had a similar change of heart. Back when President Trump didn’t even tell Comey that he was fired in person or by phone, Chacon bristled. “Nobody deserves to be treated like that,” he told the Guardian. But since then, he has come to concur that Comey is burning through the goodwill he accumulated over the course of his career in the bureau.

“I liked him when I worked at the bureau, although who the director was never really impacted my day-to-day life in the bureau too much,” Chacon says now, adding that he began to develop some concerns about Comey beginning with the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails. He wondered why a grand jury wasn’t empaneled in that investigation, a move that he contends would have somewhat insulated the bureau from political controversy by leaving the decision to indict or not indict in others’ hands..............it's unanimous, even in the liberal media, that Comey's book is an embarrassment and revealed NOTHING new and makes him look "bitchy", in their words :!:  Big O, Trump wins again :!:

James Comey's cryptic reference in his new book to "a development still unknown to the American public" involving then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch and the Hillary Clinton email probe is sparking furious speculation inside and outside the Beltway.

According to ABC News, Comey writes in "A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies and Leadership," that he became the public face of the investigation partly because of the mysterious development which he felt could cast “serious doubt” on Lynch's independence.

“Had it become public, the unverified material would undoubtedly have been used by political opponents to cast serious doubt on the attorney general’s independence in connection with the Clinton investigation,” Comey writes, according to ABC. He calls the material a “development still unknown to the American public to this day.” Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., said on “Fox and Friends” Friday that Comey’s book was a hint at the real reason for his July press conference.

“There were a lot of things that called into question the legitimacy of that investigation, including what he's now making reference to, some of us have alluded to a lot in the past which is the real reason he had the July 5 press conference,” he said. “It wasn't the tarmac, it was information he had about Loretta Lynch that if it became public, people would question their objectivity.”-------------maybe they were sexually involved? Maybe Lynch knew Steele?

No it’s a old story, what is rumored to have happened is fbi or nsa data scoped a bunch of Russian intercepts of important us officials, in this supposedly lynch had incriminating Emails compromising her impartiality or out right working to keep the investigation from going forward. And this is why j Edgar comey took to the stage to list Hillary’s crimes that nobody would prosecute because she too politically connected

Other side of this is a claim the Russians knew about the us intercepting the intercepts and planted false emails to influence the fbi and other spy agencies, and this is the real Russian hack and comey was the biggest sucker buying the fake data.

I buy the first theory more than the second because the second theory requires a large leap of faith that the false data would be believed on face value and the nsa & fbi wouldn’t have copies of all electronic transmissions already on file.

Comey is a idiot who corrupted the fbi but I doubt he’d believe the authenticity of Russian intercepts by themselves, on the other hand he help pay for a fake dossier and his top three agents were extremely compromised, so who knows at this point. I think he believes some narrative somewhere will make him a hero, thing is his tweets and bs book tour timed to counter the inspector general report have a bad reaction from average people. I don’t think he realizes he’s become the face for corrupt government officials

James Comey’s wife wanted Hillary Clinton to be President — even as her husband reopened an investigation into her emails just days before the election.

“I wanted a woman President really badly, and supported Hillary Clinton,” Patrice Failor told ABC News in an interview that aired Monday. “A lot of my friends worked for her, and I was devastated when she lost.”

Comey, who was fired as FBI director last May, previously told the network his wife and daughters attended the Women’s March a day after President Trump’s inauguration.

CIA Director Mike Pompeo made a top-secret visit to North Korea over Easter weekend as an envoy for President Trump to meet with that country’s leader, Kim Jong Un, according to two people with direct knowledge of the trip.

The extraordinary meeting between one of Trump’s most trusted emissaries and the authoritarian head of a rogue state was part of an effort to lay the groundwork for direct talks between Trump and Kim about North Korea’s nuclear weapons program, according to the two people, who requested anonymity because of the highly classified nature of the talks.

The clandestine mission, which has not previously been reported, came soon after Pompeo was nominated to be secretary of state.
