Cuomo Commutes Sentence of Judith Clark, Driver in Deadly Brink’s Robbery :!: Judith Clark, who drove a getaway car in the infamous 1981 robbery of a Brink’s armored car in Rockland County, N.Y., that left a guard and two police officers dead, went into prison defiant, with seemingly little chance of getting out. The judge who sentenced her saw her as beyond rehabilitation, giving her a minimum of 75 years in prison and all but ensuring she would die there. But Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo, citing what he called Ms. Clark’s long sentence and “exceptional strides in self-development” commuted her sentence :!: :hair: :cuss:

Cuomo’s best friend, who has also been one of his closest political advisers, was arrested on charges related to what is allegedly a seedy corruption scheme that took place right under the governor’s nose. Percoco was on the take, according to the federal criminal complaint filed by Preet Bharara, the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York. (Through a lawyer, Percoco denied the charges.) In a way, the scheme seems remarkably simple. In 2012, Percoco and his wife, Lisa Toscano-Percoco, a schoolteacher, bought a home in Westchester for eight hundred thousand dollars, which they could not afford on their salaries. So Percoco, according to the complaint, accepted three hundred and fifteen thousand dollars in bribes, mostly laundered through little-work jobs for his wife, from businesses that were seeking state government contracts. This would all be bad enough for the governor—a betrayal of public trust by an intimate adviser. But the story for Cuomo may be considerably worse. The charges suggest that one of his signature initiatives—the Buffalo Billion project, a plan to revitalize that troubled city—is beset by corruption and self-dealing.

Mr. Cuomo created the panel, the Commission to Investigate Public Corruption, with great fanfare and a broad mandate to restore public trust in government. But watchdog groups raised concerns about the panel’s credibility after reports about interference by the governor’s office, which leaned on the commission to limit the scope of its investigations, influence which subpoenas it would issue, and in some cases, stop the commission from issuing subpoenas to groups with ties to Mr. Cuomo. On March 29, 2014, Mr. Cuomo announced that as part of budget negotiations between his office and the Legislature, the panel, more commonly known as the Moreland Commission, was being disbanded. This ignoramus is next to declare his intentions to run for President. Oprah will steal his hopes and delusional dreams. He must be quite upset now. Like liberal father, like liberal son.

All that talk has turned to action: Former Sex and the City star Cynthia Nixon has announced her run for the New York governor’s seat. The actress made it official on Monday, and she plans to run in the Democratic Primary against current Governor Andrew Cuomo. Cuomo's buddy was just found guilty of crimes and dandy Andy said he knew nothing about it :!: Baloney :!: Corrupt and inept Cuomo thinks he can be President to boot :!:  He is a pathetic waste of humanity with a limited vocabulary and no appeal. The only reason Democrats now win here in NY is that NYC is 90% Democratic and has 4 of the most populated counties of the 62 we have. Let them both destroy themselves in the primary. She is as rancid as he is :!: Cuomo tried to portray the "Sex And The City" actress as a B-level celebrity with no political experience. Her team believes the possibility has already put fear into the two-term governor, a source said Sunday. "They're very encouraged by the way Cuomo reacted this past week," the source within Nixon's orbit said. "They called it a meltdown. A freakout."

In 1982, dandy Andy Cuomo's despicable liberal daddy Mario was running for Governor in the 1982 primary against then supposed gay Mayor of NYC Ed Koch, who was popular. In the decades since, many news reports have often repeated assertions that the slogan was the work of Mario Cuomo's ambitious son, Andrew. :hair: His campaign put this mailer out: Image

This was Amnesty Andrew's opponent for Governor in 2010 :!: :hair: Do you wonder how Andy won? In 8 years, he has held ZERO press conferences and makes ALL his deals behind closed doors in Albany, while claiming he has the most transparent administration NY ever had :!:

Gov. Cuomo went to a black church and made an awkward joke about Jews on Palm Sunday.

“I’m a Catholic,” Cuomo told parishioners at Harlem’s Mount Neboh Baptist Church. “Catholics basically believe the same thing as Baptists believe. We just do it without the rhythm. But we try. We try. We are not as without rhythm as our Jewish brothers and sisters.”

Cuomo, invoking several stereotypes in his cringeworthy attempt at humor, fell flat with the Jews-can’t-dance joke, but that didn’t stop the governor from adding to the thou shalt not list. Cuomo even singled out Democratic consultant Hank Sheinkopf, a former campaign adviser who is Jewish, who was sitting in the front row wearing a yarmulke.

"I was just watching Mr. Sheinkopf here in the front row, moving to the music,” Cuomo said.. It was ugly. It was ugly." :cuss:

Fellow Democrats don’t know what Gov. Andrew Cuomo was thinking when he launched his sharpest barb yet at Mayor Bill de Blasio — over the issue of government corruption.

In an extraordinary broadside, senior Cuomo campaign adviser Sarah Paden on Monday told The Post that the governor “doesn’t know why the prosecutors gave the mayor a pass on his bribery,” referring to uncharged allegations by crooked restaurateur Harendra Singh.

The blistering attack on de Blasio’s integrity came less than two weeks after former top Cuomo aide Joseph Percoco was found guilty of corruption charges — and ahead of the corruption trial involving Cuomo’s signature “Buffalo Billion” economic-development program.

Former Westchester Assemblyman Richard Brodksy called the move “nutty.”

“Everyone is entitled to an opinion. But you’ve got to scratch your head and wonder: What is the purpose here? It doesn’t exactly advance the governor’s record,” he said.

A top Democratic consultant said that “Cuomo’s playing with fire,” and a Democratic operative with close ties to City Hall called Paden’s statement “political malpractice.”

But Paden doubled down Tuesday, saying: “We just said what everyone else in New York was already thinking, saying and writing.”

De Blasio spokesman Eric Phillips said: “Everyone understands Gov. Cuomo is going through a tough time right now, so we’ll decline to comment on his deflection tactics or obsession with the mayor.”

A cop killer recently released from prison will get another added benefit of freedom: the right to vote.

Herman Bell, 70, who served 44 years in prison for the murder of two New York police officers in the 1970s, was granted parole last month by the state parole board. But a fresh decision by New York Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo to issue conditional pardons to more than 24,000 parolees means Bell can vote in the upcoming election.

“How could he do something like that? This is a convicted felon. He killed police officers in New York,” Dianne Piagentini, the widow of one of the murdered officers, said on “Fox & Friends” Friday, noting Bell was “tried and convicted” and given “25 years to life” in prison.

Cuomo’s pardons, issued earlier this week, cover 24,086 ex-cons who are under parole supervision, including Bell. The move follows a related executive order signed by the governor last month.
