I hope YOU are correct. That's quite a reversal from over $1 billion.

Yeah, well when I said that, I didn't have any actual data to go on, just a gut feeling that the great moviegoing public would lap this s**t up as usual. But it seems that even the audience that made Skyfall a billion-dollar hit has its limits.

It's dropping faster than I though. I wonder if it is any one factor like Craig's rant, script leaked, bad story, that has driven it down.

If Hunger Games neuters SP worldwide Star Wars will finish it off and my final guess will be too optimistic by far.

Actuals are in, and the second weekend drop is 52.2%, so not good, but better than its UK dropoff.

Based on the figures that we have now:-

If we assume the final take in North America will be $200 mil at best, UK to be around $150 mil & China, lets say $100 mil.

Then taking that Japan, India & S.Africa (countries yet to play SP) will donate between $40-50 mil, and taking that the other Int' territories will drop slightly under 50% each week..........i forecast SP will end up with

$875 mil worldwide..............and maybe $900 at best.

ps:- whats the prize, for whoever comes closest? :)

Updated the BO game, did I forget anybody?

PS China Changes the game, if it is $100 total as EA said it's big shot in the arm, if those numbers are accurate, like the story said some in china report the BO total as tickets x max price, not actual money earned

Actually characteristically Daniel backed out a the last moment. So 'lets meet in London' will feature the real star of SPECTRE; this guy.

the gave them away with dvd and bluray purchases when qos and sf came out, I'd guess enough of them out there artificially inflate the first two weekends . They didn't do that for sp. again I'd guess the cost were so high giving away tickets to the tune of s few million dollars didn't make sense. Or they were confident they didn't have to because "bond mania" was back
