That's to be expected. Even if he did drop hints EON would strait out lie about their validity.

His evasiveness when asked about Blofeld makes me think he probably will be the villain in the next movie, though. If they weren't planning to use him, I would think they would want to nip those rumours in the bud early on.

A Blowfeld origin story is in the works  Logan will show him as boy in flashback sequences and how that led him to be an evil head of Degeneration-X (the new vilainous group whose name was stolen by Logan from the WWE), and how his overbearing mother led to his life of crime.   This is where Eon is heading and why Fleming's Bond no longer exists.

OR... they'll rename that fruity "organization" Quantum to SPECTRE like they wanted to all along (having no new ideas of their own) now that they have the rights to Blofeld & SPECTRE that Kevin McClory's estate vacated since his heirs lacked the funds and connections to make yet another "Rival-Bond" movie of their own based on Thunderball (AGAIN!) since that git blew all the money he made off of TB AND Never Say Never Again on legal fees to support his bogus claim that HE was entitled to profits from the entire Bond Movie series since he somehow "created" the Cinematic Bond through Blofeld/SPECTRE/TB. Riiiiight. And elephants are pink.

And like that horrible Fake "Star Trek II" last year, they'll make a big show about whichever Hot New Actor is cast as The New Bond Villain is emphatically NOT, no way, not in a billion years, Ernst Stavro Blofeld. And then pussy out and make him a "new and improved" Blofeld anyway, who will inevitably be young, handsome, overly melodramatic, absurdly "sympathetic" and allegedly more "gritty" and "realistic" as some kind of "hardcore" terrorist masquerading as a slick, corporation suit with flowery prose as his soliloquies about his tortured inner demons that compels him to do the things he does (and so forth). Which WILL suck.

And to cover their asses over having that "White" jerkoff trumpeted as some kind of Big-Shot Master-Criminal in CR/QoS only for his actor to make a public stink about how he wouldn't be coming back after QoS, they'll just unceremoniously have New-Blofeld kill White offscreen and boast about his achievement as a prelude to taking over Quantum/SPECTRE. After all, that rumored "death scene" of White that was apparently filmed for QoS but dropped because it was so obviously a rerun of CR's Ending "reveal" of Craggy-Bond "Tracking Down The Big Enemy And Surprising Him At Gunpoint" crap isn't gonna fly after 6-7 years on the cutting room floor.*

* - Or it was just one redundancy too many for it to come after the Big "Craggy-Bond Tracks Down Vesper's Not-Dead Fake-Boyfriend And Holds Him At Gunpoint" rubbish that would've drawn too much attention to the $#!+ writing. Too late, fellers. Everyone already knew that QoS was f*#+ed. Just like Skyfoul: Part 2 will be.

I think your dead on Berry if Blofeld turns up he will be just as you said, however they were heavily hinting Blofeld maybe in Spyfowl yet he was a no show, only time will tell if they go this route.

No they won't. They're not writing it.

No, this one is entirely "from the writer of Star Trek: Nemesis".

Thank The Lord 007 will finally be armed with a stat of the art phaser to take on those pesky romulans.

Re: Blofeld biggest difference now from earlier fanboy speculation is they did not have the rights to use or approximate the character before. I can see them eager to use the chapter again especially that made lady in charge. If they were smart they would save Blofeld for a proper story arc which would mean a new Bond from my POV.

There's a new "update" from Logan on Empire magazine's website, but as it consists entirely of him replying "no comment" to every question they ask, I can't even be bothered to post the link.
