I voted for Sam Neill. I would have enjoyed watching a James Brolin Bond adventure too.

The though of either of those being cast, doesn't fill me with excitement. Going by their screentests, Neill comes off as though he's trying to make Bond likeable, and Brolin a bit wooden. But to answer the thread title, I would rather see Sam Neil as an 80's Bond.
