NTTD still number 1 in the UK home media chart. I was hoping it would be bought as Christmas presents and then drop like a stone. To me, the Craig era will be properly over (in the UK at least) when it drops out of the top 40.

Dropped to number 2 now. Looks like it's going to be a while before he's finally, finally gone.

Latest Weekend: Jan 14-16
Scream $30.6M
Spider-Man: No Way Home $20.8M
Sing 2 $8.3M
The 355 $2.3M
The King's Man $2.3M

The fact movies are staying in the top ten despite being on home video/ streaming to me suggests Hollywood doesn’t know how current movie audiences consume content.
The school of thought that movies have to be in theaters is 100 years old and was the only way to distribute content. For the most part theatrical releases are only a fraction of how the movies will be consumed/viewed as long as the movies are relevant to people watching them.

Meanwhile, NTTD remains at number 2 in the UK home media chart. Last week's number 1, Venom: Let There Be Carnage drops to number 3 and Ghostbusters: Afterlife enters at number 1. NTTD just hangs there, a big, solid number 2. Can't wait for it to drop off and relieve us all.

I don’t have any hope of uk or Germany s suddenly dropping the Craig “bond” addiction.
It may even be the numbers are a small fraction compared to total sales.

Unfortunately GB has determined watching Bond in any incarnation or any quality to be a national duty, add to that a lack of alternatives and there you have it.

NTTD now down to #3 here. I went into HMV today (a UK chain of record stores which closed down around the same time that Blockbuster did, but relaunched a couple of years ago to cash in on the vinyl revival) and there he was, pouting at me from the front cover of the DVDs and Blu-Rays as I walked in the door.

NTTD drops 4 places to #8 in the UK DVD chart. Hopefully it continues to drop and the day will come when we can declare the Craig era over.

I think last week they didn’t have the new number up. No wonder it seemed similar.

I’m not sure about uncharted. I love the games but I think Tom Holland is a little too young.
When the first game was released nathan fillion was envisioned as the actor to play Nathan drake , google says there was a 2018 fan film where he did play the role.

Obviously Tom Holland is Sonys only star at the moment so they’d push to have him in the movie tying in to the Spider-Man success it’s good timing. But I’m. Im not sure it makes for good uncharted movies. Spider-Man made almost 2 billion and still too the Bo charts , Tom Holland has to make Nathan desk come to life, I don’t think I saw that in the trailers

Warner Bros.’ The Batman is delivering the second-best opening since 2019 after Spider-Man: No Way Home with $128.5M after a $43.2M Saturday, which was -24% against the pic’s opening Friday+previews. There’s a very good chance by tomorrow AM that Batman could rise beyond $130M.
