Fakhrul wrote:Yeah, pure lunacy. Judging by those Youtube Comments and IMDB Reviews alone, there are so many people who hate his Bond or at least wished that he gained the super gadgets and wit soon or later that it's funny to considered him as success. I'm betting that people watching his movies because of Bond's brand name alone. Also, Craig's the one who's Bond in name only, not Brosnan or Moore. He simply failed in being faithful for both the movie franchise and Novel for being a simple thug somehow become a top agent instead of sophisicated killer. He looks more fitting in the likeness of Stamper, Jaws and Oddjob: A right hand, overpowered henchman.
Also, this.

Man...he looks older than my 75 years old grandpa.
One just needs to look at comments for Skyfail on imDb and everything will be clear...I honestly have no idea how the rating is so high...

Also,I think what Fakrhul said is true. The name James Bond and what it represents(or represented) is so ingrained in the stone that I don't think it matters so much to the general audience that Craig hasn't got a trace of elegance, charisma or anything that James Bond is supposed to have. I suppose half way through the movie they forget what Bond should be like.Danny De Vito could play Bond and I bet movies would still made money...personally I found Stamper in TND to be far better looking than Craig. And he was a henchman..

Hello all, I am a frustrated Bond Fan. Ive watched every film since Octopussy at the cinema. When in CR i cheered as the Aston rolled, I knew it was over then. QoS I saw as my wife booked tickets. I forced myself through it and resolved afterward I would not watch Craig as Bond again. Skyfall I was persuaded hard to go see, but when i saw his face , by ten minutes in i left to watch a different screen. Spectre wild horses wont drag me to. I am struggling staying away from the cinema and avoiding all the articles and clips etc but i have no choice I cant bear to watch Craig as Bond.

Its a relief to have found this site!

Here's a dry martini in welcome, Derek! :martini: As for Spectre, I'll wait for the DVD rental. Don't want to buy it. (I have never seen Crag at the cinema.) Will watch it as just a generic action film. But it's not Bond, it could be Bruce Willis, Tom Cruise, whoever. speaking of Cruise I saw his Knight and Day co-starring Cameron Diaz. It's fun. I like that he did a lot of his own motorcycle stunts -- that was really them in the Running of the Bulls in some shots. Also, I hear that Diaz is a good driver, and can do bootleg turns. In the film however, you can't see her face, so you expect it to be a stuntdriver. :cake:
You move very well for a dead man, Mister Bond
