Re: Dr Who Specials
Waters of Mars tonight at 7. I hope they repeat the previous special at some point too.

I watched a Sky Of Night special on Mars before I watched the new Dr Who, so that made it more interesting!! I thought it looked wonderful; I'm still shocked at the production values of the new Dr Who. It was an ok adventure, although there was some padding.
Bring back Bond!

The soft padding is one reason I am glad RTD is leaving the show. If Waters of Mars didn't have a few of the campy cartoon story elements it would be a much harder hitting story. It had all of the necessary elements for a top notch story but flinches to make concessions to RTD's childlike plot developments.carl stromberg wrote:I watched a Sky Of Night special on Mars before I watched the new Dr Who, so that made it more interesting!!
