"Dalton makes an effective Bond - lacking Sean Connery's grace and humor, and Roger Moore's suave self-mockery, but with a lean tension and a toughness that is possibly more contemporary" - Roger Ebert
Re: Bond in The Simpsons
I remember a couple of Bond references in the episode where they come to Britain. How many of these episodes were written by John Swartzwelder? He appears to be a Bond fan.

Re: Bond in The Simpsons
Is the first one the same show where homer is a blackjack dealer and hands bond a joker card that was supposed to be removed causing bond to lose and be dragged away screaming he never loses?

Re: Bond in The Simpsons
That scene was a deleted scene. It was supposed to be in the episode where Mr Burns opens his casino but the episode ran long. I couldn't find a picture of it but in one episode Krusty the Clown is revealed to have a third nipple like Scaramanga.

I did a search too no images for krusty the clowns' superfluous third nipple. is it blocked or does nobody think it's interesting from a Bond POV?Kiwichris wrote:That scene was a deleted scene. "Y'know what's great about you English? 'Octopussy'. Man, I must have seen that film... *twice*."
I remember Nelson Muntz calling somebody an "Octowussy" once too.
Tony Blair's Thunderball style jetpack from the episode where they go to England.
Itchy & Scratchy Goldfinger parody.

Paul McCartney's guest appearance where Apu calls Live and Let Die, Live and Let Live
Bart melting a James Bond toy in the microwave in a Blofeld-like manner
Mr. Burns' Blofeld imitation
Homer's Goldfinger-esque emergency at work
Bart, again imitating Blofeld. He calls Lisa Octopussy in this scene.
Finally found it!Omega wrote:Is the first one the same show where homer is a blackjack dealer and hands bond a joker card that was supposed to be removed causing bond to lose and be dragged away screaming he never loses?
Blofeld: 20. Your move, Mr. Bond.
Bond: I'll take a hit, dealer. Joker?! You were supposed to take those out of the deck.
Homer: Oh, sorry. Here's another one.
Bond: What's this? "Rules for Drawing Stud Poker"?
Blofeld: What a pity, Mr. Bond.
Bond: But... but it's Homer's fault! I didn't lose. I never lose! Well, at least tell me the details of your plot for world domination.
Blofeld: Haha, I'm not falling for that one again Mr. Bond.
In this one Blofeld wears an eyepatch like Largo.

Update:
Found pics of the whole scene, Oddjob and Jaws are in the background and are the ones who drag Bond away.
