I'm embarrassed to admit it, but I can't remember what film that dialogue about Bond deriving pleasure from killing comes from. I've a feeling it's one of the Moore films, but I'm not sure about that.

I think you are right. I want to say one of Moore's early movies that's when they started the tradition of the adversarial sit down. When the bad guy tries to bring Bond down to their level in the course of casual conversation. In Dr No, FRWL, TB?, Goldfinger it was Bond trying to stall or play along long enough to escape.

I think that quote is from The Man With the Golden Gun

Telling in its own way that they didn't go for the newer stuff (i.e. Daniel's). When People think 007 they think of Sean Connery to Pierce Brosnan. This still has not changed.

It's a known fact that Coogan is a fan of the Bond films and of Moore specifically so having dialogue from a Moore film makes sense. :martini:

i never heard about this comedian before, so i goggled him... apparently he's a huge bond fan.
