Please indulge me, for I don't feel like skimming through the whole article. Did it break the record for most money earned, highest attendance, or both?

The article isn't that long, just a few lines.....

With $1.864 million on Thursday and a new domestic haul of $229 million, Skyfall has overtaken The Bourne Ultimatum ($227.5 million) as the highest-grossing spy genre movie in domestic box office history.

Previously, Skyfall climbed past Mission: Impossible II, Austin Powers in Goldmember and Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol to join the top five over Thanksgiving weekend.

If you use ticket sales to calculate the chart, Skyfall is at number 7. The top 5 is:

1. Mission: Impossible
2. Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me
3. Mission: Impossible II
4. Austin Powers in Goldmember
5. True Lies
"He's the one that doesn't smile" - Queen Elizabeth II on Daniel Craig
