Very interesting review!!

This was ironic as some say many of the Bond films were like Austin Powers.
[Bond] drinks a Heineken. (To his credit, he does cover the label with his hand, ashamed at being caught drinking Austin Powers’ brew).
Bring back Bond!

Chief of Staff, 007's gone round the bend. Says someone's been trying to feed him a poisoned banana. Fellow's lost his nerve. Been in the hospital too long. Better call him home.

It's funny that they mention Austin Powers, because that's apparently one of the reasons why this dark and serious direction to Bond was taken. But no matter how hardcore they try to make Bond, there will still be people poking fun at the series. Every popular movie/TV series gets spoofed, it's just the way it is.

Many reviews says the OTT Skyfall villain was like an Austin Powers character. Maybe they overcompensated for the blandness of the QOS villian.
Bring back Bond!
