I didn't know Baz Bamigboye was a film critic now. :| There are several reviews online and apart from a sniffy one in the Guardian all are very positive. Even Graham Rye said it was good.

"Silva into one helluva Mr. Bad-ass. He's kinky with it too, well into stroking what he fancies - including Bond , for heavens sake!" Positive reviews for a plot like this? By what paid off moron? Harris will ruin Moneypenny and Q will be a joke. I wonder what these critics are smoking to buy into this garbage Eon is shoveling.......or is it GREEN that talks?

Sadly it looks like modern audiences and critics enjoy this crap and Craig's "Bond".

Looks like The Sweeney will have a busy day tomorrow posting reviews.

Early reviews leaked at this point are nearly always good. They got upset at the Dragon Tattoo girl reviews out early and those were good.

sniffy one in the Guardian?

I said all along Skyfall will be the biggest Bond film in years, helped along by Olympics, Bond 50, Adele and positive reviews.
Right now the positive reviews are literally overwhelming from what I've read online. Far more positive than even CR.

Adele will probably hit the No. 1 spot too next week (if not this week) for the first time in Bond history.

Sorry guys, but Craig is here to stay. FBF, time to send in your wierdos.....

Can't say I'm surprised, we live in a time where even utter crap seems to sell when it shouldn't and expectations have been thrown out the window to simply like anything that's there, another piece of crap to avoid, oh bond is darker than he was (really is he batman now), and more dangerous (so's a doberman if you get to close to it), the new villain likes be kinky with stuff ( I really don't need to see that let alone know that he likes being kinky with stuff, imagine lord of the rings if we found out gollum was kinky with the ring (throws up) christ, does he call bond a bad boy now & I thought the torture scene in cr wasn't homoerotic enough with the way dominic green loved torturing bond in that chair and looking like he was getting off on it).

This is bond today folks bad spy porn, you feel ashamed for watching it and it makes you feel downright dirty after as well, want to be like bourne first give you lead blonde hair, then take an ordinary, cool, badass, suave spy with a license to kill, neuter him, make him short, give him a face that resembles droopy of pugsly from the addams family, make him pout, make him punch through walls & continually have him being miserable.

Bond: you expect me to talk
new villain: no mr bond I expect you to moan
bond: errr ok

Daniel craigs dream of having a bi bond will be much closer with this (you know because again that's what fleming's bond was mirite).

Bourn'd movies in a nutshell: angry, unhappy, grrrh must punch someone, a wall punch through it, a martini don't give a d**n, grrrh must kill someone, wooh a pokertable....must kill someone, waaaah vesper.....betrayed me but....wahhhhhhh hulk angry crush puny solace

Rinse and repeat.

How long till this bond starts singing ymca and in the navy, bet those stupid reviewers will just lap that up, bet that's what fleming imagined bond as as well.

James bond: license to kill (ITSELF :gun: :007: ).

Bond had a great 40 years, now he's just some random punk who belives he's bond because he wears a tux (along with half of the cast of bloody downton abbey).
Bond....James bond....Rest in peace (1964-2002)

Surely as a Bond fan (not a Craig fan) you want to hear glowing reviews on a new Bond film. If all these reviews were slating the new film, you'd be on here saying `I told you so!! EON are ruining the franchise. Look even the reviews say so!'

If the reviews were saying this film was even worse than QoS, to me that would be as depressing as hell. Instead, we are hearing about a classic Bond feel in a new direction. Gone in the reboot. Traditional elements are back. Gone are the shaky cam Bourne influences. The film may be the best one ever, etc.

For me, this makes me excited as a Bond fan, that EON have listened to the mistakes made last time round, and tried to correct them by making a superb film.

And yet this is cause for more moaning. I don't get it. I cannot understand any negativity for positive reviews.... :?

This site is called Daniel Craig is Not James Bond for people who feel he is unsuitable to play James Bond. Daniel Craig is playing James Bond in Skyfall. I for one cannot watch a Bond movie with him playing "Bond". :007:

Fair enough. I was never a fan of Brozza as Bond, but even I would want to hear Brozza's next Bond film was superb by critics reviews. It would have made me thought `Who knows? Maybe this next film may actually be worth seeing, despite who is playing Bond...'

I know I'm preaching to myself here and this will fall on deaf ears, as you guys have made your opinions clear on Craig as Bond from the outset, but I often wondered whether some of you here were more bothered about the new direction the series was going in, rather than just the new fella playing 007.

If so, then surely these reviews may make you reconsider that this time round, the film itself may actually be rather good...?

I'm sure some anti-Craig people will admit the movie is good if they like it and some may even be won over to Craig. But it ruins the movie if I think the central character - the hero - is awful.

To be truthful I'm hoping that it will be a slight disaster so I can enjoy a new Bond movie without Craig one day. But it seems Eon have rebooted Bond taking inspiration from the recent Batman trilogy with a new cast and that Craig will be staying on as Bond for at least two more movies.

There was a (I think) Telegraph review where they said it didn't feel much like a Bond film but gave it 4 out of 5 anyway. A lot of the reviews seem to suggest they've been more inspired by Nolan and the Dark Knight trilogy than Jason Bourne this time.
