Skyfall is Daniel Craig's....

Post by Kristatos »

There's a hilarious discussion going on over at CBn about how Skyfall is Craig's Goldfinger. No, wait, it's his The Spy Who Loved Me. No, Sorry, it's his Never Say Never Again.

I thought the topic deserved its own thread here. So, complete the following sentence: "Skyfall is Daniel Craig's...."

Funniest answer wins one internet.

Skyfall is daniel craigs reocurring nightmare in where he continually ends up making bad films that have more bombs then a micheal bay flick, only after craig wakes up from his nightmare he doesn't truly realise it wasn't a dream and thus gollum dons his tux, drinks a heineken and gets ready to play his other role jane bond: license to drag, if skyfall bombs however never say never again craig for you only live twice & there's no longer any layer on this cake (franchise).

If Craig's reign as Bond is compared to the German campaign in World War II, Casino Royale was like Operation Barbarossa, Quantum of Solace was like Stalingrad and Skyfall will be like the final days in Hitler's bunker.

 You got me out of the gloom Capt.

The big question will be; are Daniel and Barbara going to make it legal? Spend their honeymoon in the bunker?

Yes! And to take the analogy further Michael G. Wilson is Joesph Goebbels in the bunker and the Craig fanatics on the MI6 and CommanderBond forums are like the SS fighting to the end in Berlin in April 1945/

Judging by the poster, Skyfall is Daniel Craig's Flushed Away: an overhyped flop* set in a sewer.

*=though I quite liked it, even if it's not up to the standards of Aardman's best work.

What do you mean? What I'm saying is that with Bond 23, DC's Bond era shall end up like Japan at the end of WWII where Hiroshima and Nagasaki were nuked, ending the war.

You made my point for me. Millions of people died it's not a cool reference. I understand you want Craig and EON undone nuking people is a little different from delusional assholes sitting in a bunker offing themselves, it how we get the Hitler rant video sensation.

Skyfall is . . . a narcissistic disaster set the ambient sounds of Thomas Newman.
"For a moment Bond looked up into two glittering eyes behind a narrow black mask. There was an impression of a crag-like face under a hat brim, the collar of a fawn mackintosh." - Ian Fleming, Casino Royale
