It's the role every female actress wants, and Naomie Harris nailed it.

But it seems the Pirates Of The Caribbean actress will have some competition on her hands, as Skyfall introduces a new Bond girl.

Director Sam Mendes has cast Greek beauty Tonia Sotiropoulou alongside Daniel Craig, with the unknown actress bound to rocket to A-list status.

Tonia revealed on her Facebook page: 'Dear friends. I officially announce I got a part in J. Bond new film!!! Turkey here I come! Thank u all for you love and support! This is officially the happiest day of my life b****es!!!!'

It is believed the brunette beauty previously auditioned for the role of Severine, which in fact was rewarded to French star Bérénice Marlohe.


Delighted Tonia told local Greek press: 'I feel very lucky and blessed, but basically, I am very grateful that this happened, for my family and my friends who believe in me and support trying to do.

'I will do the best, I am very proud because somehow it might be something that will advertise in Greece and I am happy about it.'

Tonia will be on location for five days in Istanbul to film the opening sequence in which Bond is smuggled into the country after being believed to be dead, according to unofficial fan site MI6-HQ.

She has a rather trim CV with few television credits, dating back to 2007.

Tonia's biggest role to date is for film Berberian Sound Studio, a tale of a sound engineer whose work for an Italian horror studio results in terror.

The plethora of Bond girls is not the only excitement attached to the new film, with Bond's iconic Martini reported to be replaced with a beer.

The cocktail-sipping Mr Suave will now be featured sipping on a Heineken.

The release of the film, which marks 50 years of the franchise, is also set to coincide with a global advertising initiative that will star the actor.

Craig will appear in a television ad campaign, while his image will be printed on limited-edition bottles, to go on sale ahead of the film's launch.

Skyfall is set for a November 9 release.

Do Babs and Mikey really not realize how old Craig looks compared to the Bond girls?At the most, Craig is 10-15 year older than some of them.When you actually see them together, it seems more like 20-25 years older. He hasn't aged well at.all. Stating the obvious there,I know.
