Michael Sheen to play Bond villain Blofeld?

I remember reading in a refrence Book On TSWLM that in an early script they where going to have the SPECTRE old guard Killed of By a Younger Crew, I thought this was A good Idea,If they had done this with QUANTUM it would at lease look different to SPECTRE.

Yeah, inspired by the Baader-Meinhoff gang.

My guess is that if it wasn't for the legal hassles surrounding SPECTRE, Quantum wouldn't exist, though. The two are pretty much interchangeable, just a change of name and a Q instead of an octopus as an insignia.

I have to admit Kristatos, I never picked up on how similar the Q Insignia and Octopus Ring where. I feel pretty Dumb. It's as Close as you can Get Legaly I'm assuming

Wasn't there even a reference in QOS to Quantum having tentacles everywhere, which is what the octopus was supposed to signify?

I have to admit unlike other Bonds I haven't watched it enough to remember Lines from It. Which I'm rather Happy with . At one stage I forgot B Tanner was even in it, so memorable was the Character
