Your choice for Bond in Bond 23
I'd like to see Henry Cavill play Bond in Bond 23. Unfortunately I do not have access to a mirror universe. If I did, Cavill would be Bond next time around.
Any other suggestions?

I can't think of who'd be the next Bond. Worthington and Cavill just don't cut it for me.
If only Jason Isaacs were younger today.

He is only 46 and looks a lot younger than Craig and will continue to look so well in to his fifties. If they won't let him do Bond let him be Mstockslivevan wrote:I can't think of who'd be the next Bond. Worthington and Cavill just don't cut it for me.

Isaacs would have been a good James Bond. He reminds me of Iain Glen a little. They both have that handsome but cruel look.

That's too old. I'd rather they cast 30 somethings. We don't need another Grandpa Bond situation like we got with Moore. Cast in 30s and get the boot at 50.Omega wrote:He is only 46 and will continue to look so well in to his fifties.stockslivevan wrote:I can't think of who'd be the next Bond. As long as Babs is running the show,I doubt we'll get Cavill, or anyone elike him.

Henry Cavill is old enough now. It would be great to have a handsome Bond again who doesn't need lifts in his shoes.

Not even close I'm afraid katie, not a Bondian actor in the making.katied wrote:A ginger, erm, dark. horse but I've mentioned Kevin McKidd's name several times and will mention it again
Though I'd settle for Cavill as a replacement for Craig. Only after Dan has made the next two films in the series as per his contract.
Re: Your choice for Bond in Bond 23
Yeah, it was just a suggestion. . I predict it'll be Cavill.I'm getting more and more sold on him plus I like the name Henry!

Will they reboot again?A young man would be the best bet. They go back to the way it was for the last 50 years one word HughJackman
Re: Your choice for Bond in Bond 23
If they re-reboot then it makes sense to have someone young.

Re: Your choice for Bond in Bond 23
Jackman's one advantage is he could jump in at where Pierce left off and pull off a damned good Bond. He is a strong enough actor to do it and help people forget the previous misguided reboot.
However things are majorly fucked up after Craig dumbleBond-Bourne again reboot leaving them almost no choice but to reboot the series completely and try to tell the Bond story with a much younger in his late 20s to early 30s and resynchronize with Connery and Dr No, alternatively they could have the whole Bond legacy to tell over again ala Star Trek.

Re: Your choice for Bond in Bond 23
I'm starting to get a feeling the next Bond actor will be someone not presently on the radar. Cavill is not helped by the fact that apparently it was Campbell who wanted him. Campbell did not get his way and will have nothing to do with the selection of the next Bond.

Re: Your choice for Bond in Bond 23
I have a feeling the decision about who the next Bond is going to be will be more Babs' decision than anything else. It's Babs' and Mikey's say, but mostly Babs'.

Maybe they could use a hologram of Daniel Craig to ensure he remains Bond until the end of time. No other actor will ever be able to step into those famous shoes.James wrote:I'm starting to get a feeling the next Bond actor will be someone not presently on the radar. Or maybe they'll go the Have I Got News for You/Never Mind the Buzzcocks route and have a different Guest Bond for each movie.007 wrote:Maybe they could use a hologram of Daniel Craig to ensure he remains Bond until the end of time. That would be a HUGE hit with the Craig fans that want him to be Bond seemingly forever!Maybe they could use a hologram of Daniel Craig to ensure he remains Bond until the end of time. No other actor will ever be able to step into those famous shoes.
