Who is watching the Cricket World Cup? It's the "world's fourth largest and most viewed sporting event" according to wikipedia.

It is being held in India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

Here are the groups (the top four from each group go through to the quarter finals):

Group A

New Zealand
Sri Lanka
Canada
Kenya

I feel I ought to like cricket, since it was invented in Wessex (Hampshire to be precise), but I have just never been able to get into it. I saw a TV listing for an England v. Netherlands game - I had no idea they even played cricket in the Netherlands, let alone have a national team.

There are lots of countries who play cricket quite well, but only a few have the resources to play the five day test game in whites. The Netherlands are one of the better one day teams and they have players playing in English county cricket.

Did you know the first ever international cricket math was between the USA and Canada in the 1800s? At some point the Americans decided hey preferred Baseball.
