I enjoyed Andy Griffith in the TV movie thriller Gramps where h played John Ritter's psychopathic father.

Eric Sykes was a legend.

For those who are unfamiliar with Sykes, or who only know him from his brief role as the muggle caretaker who gets killed by Voldemort at the beginning of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, here's his classic short film The Plank.

I saw that Ernie passed away too. He was a legend too and had a very long life.

I think it was a mistake to hire a crappy private company to provide security!

It should be fine; although the weather might be awful as it has rained virtually every day this year.

The Dark Knight shooting suspect has been identified as James Holmes. The story doesn't say any more about him or what his motivation might have been.

Sick SOB is what he is.

His mother is telling people they have the right guy man there has to be long history of problems with this guy. they said his only contact with police was a traffic ticket . I don't know I get the feeling this guy is so nuts he had to be on somebodies radar. His parents knew! This falls on them if it comes out they did nothing to prevent this I don't buy he got up two days ago and decided to do this he has to have a history sick s**t somewhere in his life.

I don't buy he kicked down an emergency door I bet he went in earlier to opened the door prevented it locking maybe then came back with his gear. One report has it he may have place the handguns in the theater earlier. premeditated s**t it what this is.
some described he crashed through the emergency exit others he kicked it open. If he drove a car in the door maybe but most of these exits are very heavy duty I don't see a car forcing the door open just because of the way emergency doors open it'd be more likely to jam shut from being forced in the wrong direction.

The BBC's profile of Holmes says that he had no criminal record beyond a speeding ticket, and was "socially awkward, but not to the degree that would warrant suspicion of mass murder or any atrocity of this magnitude."

Not to bring politics in to this however I knew when Obama and Romney we comfortable commenting it wasn't a jihadi, terror cell, illegal immigrant. Had to be a run of the mill crazy white boy.

This is why my wife does not like our kids watching these kind of action movies. When we were young it was the matrix that had kids acting out violently a few killing themselves because they believed they were in the matrix.

Such incredible bravery. In a situation like that it is hard to know what anyone will do this young man has the right stuff. We need more like him.
