I believe he was some sort of consultant, but I suspect that was more of an honorary title than anything. The guy was close to his hundredth birthday, I doubt he would have had an active role.

During the new Hillary documentary Bill Clinton comes clean about the affair he had with Lewinsky, stating he engaged in “oral sex” with her to relieve the stress of the job. :Bonk:

We were talking about him a few years ago, he had such a long history in film, so many culturally relevant movies that will be watched for a long time. I doubt any actor of our modern era or future actors born today will ever come close.

One thing that obituary taught me is that I've been saying his surname wrong all these years. I've always pronounced it to rhyme with "lie-down" (minus the final "n").

Albert Uderzo: Asterix co-creator and illustrator dies aged 92

Albert Uderzo, who drew the Asterix comic books, has died at the age of 92.
He created the famous stories - about the adventures of Gaulish warriors fighting the Roman Empire - with his friend René Goscinny in 1959.

As well as illustrating the series, Urderzo took over the writing following Goscinny's death in 1977.
The books have sold 370 million copies worldwide, in dozens of languages, and several stories have been turned into cartoons and feature films.

The series continues to this day under new ownership, with the most recent book, Asterix and the Chieftain's Daughter, released last October.

"Albert Uderzo died in his sleep at his home in Neuilly, after a heart attack that was not linked to the coronavirus," his son-in-law Bernard de Choisy told the AFP news agency.

Now it seems we've lost Tim Brooke-Taylor to the plague, too. This is sad news to me, as The Goodies were a massive part of my childhood.

Kim Jong Un in ‘vegetative state,’ Japanese media report says:The weekly Shukan Gendai reported Friday that a Chinese medic sent to North Korea as part of a team to treat Kim believed a delay in a simple procedure left the leader severely ill, Reuters reported. North Korean media hasn’t mentioned Kim’s health or whereabouts, even though reports by other media have sparked international speculation about his well-being. The Chinese expert told the magazine that Kim clutched his chest and fell to the ground on a visit to the countryside earlier this month. A doctor accompanying Kim performed CPR and took him to a nearby hospital. Kim, believed to be 36, needed a stent procedure, which calls for placing a tube into a congested blood vessel to allow blood to keep flowing to the heart, according to Shukan Gendai.

His sister will run the country now? A vice director of HKSTV Hong Kong Satellite Television, a Beijing-backed broadcast network in Hong Kong, claimed that Kim was dead, citing a “very solid source.” Her post on the Chinese messaging app Weibo has been shared widely on social media, according to a report in the International Business Times. Other unconfirmed reports, attributed to senior party sources in Beijing, said an operation to insert a stent went wrong because the surgeon’s hands were shaking so badly.

Ok . Not sure what this means if true. That kid
Murdered just about everyone in his family and anyone who could oppose him in the government. What more likely than surgery gone bad is China wanted him gone and someone new.
Of course surgery in the communist countries is known to go bad. It’s why Russia lost the space race

While the dictator’s location and the state of his health remain a mystery, some reports say he fled to a luxury resort in the port city located along the eastern side of the Korean Peninsula to avoid catching the coronavirus — and the UK paper speculates that he might have his harem with him.
