Yes Carl, along with my black and white television, outside toilet and coal fire.

Yes! I do! I still have a VCR, and a lot of tapes, mostly of TV shows (I taped ER every week the first few years it was on.)

I do as well.
Re: Does anyone still use VHS?
I have a video recorder, but it's not connected to a TV at the moment. It's just sitting in a corner gathering dust.

Re: Does anyone still use VHS?
Mine's dusty but that's more because I don't to clean it very often
There's a few places around where I live that still sell used VHS tapes at good prices-and there are some good deals to be had.

Do you have one of these too Captain?Capt. Sir Dominic Flandry wrote:Yes Carl, along with my black and white television, outside toilet and coal fire.
I have lots of rare TV programmes on tapes. I can't be bothered to transfer them to DVD etc.
Bring back Bond!
Re: Does anyone still use VHS?
If the quality of the tapes isn't that great, then it's not really worth transferring them to DVD,plus,a lot of the classic shows are becoming available on DVD. About 14-20 years ago you could get sets of stuff that aired on PBS(Public Broadcasting Stations here in the U.S. home of informational programming) on VHS and they were pretty expensive. Now, everything is on DVD and there are some good deals to be had if you know where to look.

No I'm a DVD guy, I did have a VCR when I was 10 though. A bonus is my PS3 doubles as a blu-ray player.
Re: Does anyone still use VHS?
I'm DVD's most of the time..except when I want to watch something on VHS(very rare, anymore).
