Reputations???

Post by Captain Nash »

So we got rid of the points system and now have the reputation system.
So how does this work?

Base reputation
Starting reputation
Experience reputation
Posting reputation

I see we can give members a plus or minus vote towards there posts. I've already received several minus votes (No shocks there) but surely a reason for these should be a required field. If you have the desire to give someone a negative vote, at least have the balls to say why.
If anyone can explain how this reputation thing works I would appreciate it.

Stocksilvian and Captain Nash obviously take the reputation tool rather seriously as they have both given me negative reviews with bitter comments!

Well it always pays to be honest Dom.
Especially after you've done the same but without comment.

Well you would be, but you keep giving members the thumbs up without reason.
Seriously if we have a comment box for our reuptations then I suggest we use it.
:?
I mean come on.

I think you get experience points for slaying an orc. Roll a 12-sided die to determine how many.

I've never taken much notice of the reputation system but I did see that The Sweeney had taken most of my points away this morning. :P

I've noticed a lot of frenetic activity on the reputation system lately. I think the Borg collective are trying to prevent BJ from being the most respected member.

Is it worth continuing with the reputation system? Surely the most respected members on the forum are Kristatos and Sweeney.

A very modest response! Speaking of the Borg, who do you think would win if they had a three way battle for control of the universe agaisnt the Daleks and Darth Vader's Imperial Stormtrooper...er...Alliance (?) ?

We need some to oversee the reputation system.

How about Robert Mugabe?
