Hey, that was my first computer! I managed to badger my dad into buying it for me, saying it was for my school work, but of course it mostly got used for playing Atic Atac and Manic Miner.carl stromberg wrote:As long as they don't mention the Spectrum, it should be fine.
I was having a go at The Sweeney, aka Jet Set Willy....!
I had the superior Commodore 64.
Still play the games on my emulator.
Edit: wait, how did the text of (presumably) Carl Stromberg's reply to my post end up under my name? - Kristatos

At least we only have to wait a couple of weeks this year, instead of until July, like in previous years. I guess the Sci-Fi channel got fed up with losing viewers to Bittorrent.carl stromberg wrote:I'll have to give away all the plots for Kristatos.

Ex-IRA operative! That's in poor taste! I suppose they have been slightly rehabilitated with ther leadership of the No vote in the Republic of Ireland EU related referendum and with their powersharing government with former extreme Unionists in the North.Dr. No wrote:just got in to Burn Notice. I've been watching some episodes of Home Improvement. It's a bit cheesy, but it always make me laugh when Tim Allen smashes up something with his modified tools.
Bring back Bond!

Bones. I watched repeats of it a couple of times and now I'm a fan.

I thought Agent Booth could have been a interesting Felix.

Guess it would be more of an issue over there.carl stromberg wrote:Ex-IRA operative! That's in poor taste! sad thing is is her character could have been anything, didn't have to be ira. i but t was written as ex-ira and they cast her without making she could manage the accent ful time. after the second show she was "working on her american accent" the irish accent never showed up again.
No the star of burn notice can do quite a wide range of accents. I remember seeing him first on touching evil and then on Mr Monk and the astronaut

I LOVED last night's episode of Bones. Though I hope they don't make that new character (who actually got fired) a permanent thing.
