The US version of Being Human starts tonight on Watch. I might check it out, even though I've heard it's not as good as the original.

Well the it doesn't matter who is elected the government is always the BFF of big business, small business is choked to death with regulations while the Big Business is given a helping hand.
Continuum plot would make more sense if it were the "government" imposing the debt under the guise of democracy as you said. The whole evil corporations is a attempt to be trendy with the occupy BS, there were good people involved at one point until it was taken over y by a major party.

There is Storage Wars, Auction Hunters, Toy Hunters...I've been watching the latest one: Craig Hunters. In it BJMDDS travels the world hunting down and buying Daniel Craig memorabilia.

Blowing them up or melting them in the microwave would make better TV.

Dave is a jerk, I think he's going bankrupt again. Any way they kick Dave off the show so he's taking them to court, hope he loses and has to pay the cost.
We watch all the Storage shows even Container wars. Although Ton and Allen's show may be done I like their show because it had the real value of the item not the estimates.

New show on the radar is Primeval New World liking it so far.

The Storage shows are a bit silly as they buy a unit with rubbish in it then find something like a cruise missile in an old cupboard at the back.

I used to watch American pickers the guys on it started to annoy me, still amazing finds.

Diagnosis Murder is on Encore, old show some bad acting from the Guest stars and I can't forgive Barry Van Dyke for what he did to Airwolf, good fun.

Diagnosis Murder is the one of the best tv shows of all time. From the classic early era with Scott Baio as Dr Jack Stewart (and his stupid haircut) to the Jesse Travis and Barbecue Bobs era it just got better and better. Highlights included the Carter Sweeney episodes (where he blew up the hospital) and the trash tv episodes with Stephen J. Cannell. The Barry Van Dyke Airwolf was great- although each episode was made for about $10. I still watch the classic Malduke episode every year where Dick Van Dyke plays the villain. It's probably the strangest hour of television ever.

And don't forget Murder 101.

Murder 101 the Van Dyke family show  (also a Pierce Brosnan movie) I enjoy Diagnosis murder and Murder 101 are fun some of the early Diagnosis Murder shows (Scott Baio! ) had some very bad guests.
Hated Van Dyke Airwolf

Doomsday Preppers is back on the Nat Geo channel. There's some good stuff on in the summer, even if the big networks are running mostly repeats(new shows aired during the summer are ususally the sort of stuff they wouldn't air during a normal season-Sept.-May when the shows are first run- they're *that* bad.)

I want to watch Doomsday Preppers - I love nuclear bunkers and similar types of things.

Murder 101 with Pierce is a great film - I'll have to find a copy as I have not watched it for ages.

I love Doomsday Preppers even if some of the people on there are a little cuckoo for cocoa puffs

They had a guy on last week's episode who got voted out of a prepper community because he didn't agree with their stance on using guns;it wasn't that they weren't completely against using guns, but this guy seemed more than a little trigger happy-*not* the sort of person you want defending you when the sh!t hits the fan!

There's a show on SyFy called Heroes of Cosplay-people who dress us as comic-book characters and go to comic book conventions where they compete for best costumes-I wasn't sure that I would like it but it's incredibly compelling viewing!

By Any Means, the new cop show from Tony Jordan (Hustle, Life on Mars) starts tonight. The premise doesn't sound that original (an undercover unit with special dispensation to bend the law in pursuit of criminals), but Jordan's name on the credits ensures that it will at least be entertaining. He's another British TV writer who I wish would be asked to write a Bond film, but there's not much chance of that with the current regime.

Just saw the first episode of Agents of SHIELD via catch-up TV. Another Marvel property that feels more like old-skool Bond than Bond does at the moment.
