I'd add 24 and the X-Files to that list.

DCINB is similar to the resistance in V. I'm Mike Donovan, of course ( ). Skywalker's Ham Tyler.

Doctor Who
The Prisoner

The Colbert Report
Planet Earth

There are probably more that I could add, but I think that's enough to be going on with.

Ironside is pretty hardcore in V. :)

I rediscovered an old childhood favorite was on DVD. Greatest American Hero.
It's oh so corny and if you didn't see when young you probably wont like it.
But it brought back good memories and I got to introduce it the next generation.

Ooh, forgot about Red Dwarf. I'd add that to my list, too.

Just finished watching the second series of prison break. Excellent stuff. Can't wait for season 3.

Prision Break is one of those programs that has passed me by. How are you watching it, skywalker? Torrent or box set?

On the subject of Red Dwarf, what happened to the planned Red Dwarf film?

Still planned, AFAIK, but I doubt we'll ever see it. Doug Naylor wants it to be a big-budget movie, and I doubt anyone would want to invest large sums of money in what would only be a cult movie.

With the Red Dwarf movie, I'm sure I read a number of times that they had commenced production.

By the way, the last few series of Red Dwarf were not very good. :x I think one of the writers left.

Yes, Rob Grant. He went on to do a sci-fi comedy for Sky One called The Strangerers. That wasn't very good either. Grant and Doug Naylor seem to work better as a team.

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy movie didn't exactly set the world on fire. They have been talking about making a moive since the late 1990's.
Didn't the hold a press conference for the moive with Lister a few years ago?

I don't think the cast has done much since, well Lisiter did have that robot war show for awhile.

Lister's in Coronation Street, the UK soap opera. He was suspended for things he did in his private life.

I haven't seen the Hitchhiker's film yet. The UK tv version was wonderful; it was perfectly cast.

Has anyone watched the new Curb Your Enthusiasm yet?

Allegedly did. As far as I know, he was cleared of the charges against him.
