Best opening credits on a TV show?
What are the best opening credits on a TV show?
My favourites are T.J. Hooker - it has me in tears of laughter every time. Magnum is very funny too.

True Blood. They capture the American South perfectly.

I never watched a whole episode of True Blood (I should do as it looks good and that blonde Kiwi woman always has her top off) but I have seen the starting which is good. The HBO and Showtime etc have good openings: The Sopranos and Dexter are classics too.
Bring back Bond!

Both the old and the new Hawaii Five-0. I like the new one better, of course That's because I wasn't even in this world when the other one started airing. LOL

Why do Hawaii based detective shows have to have classic openings?Ale wrote:Both the old and the new Hawaii Five-0. I like the new one better, of course That's because I wasn't even in this world when the other one started airing. LOL

Does the new Hawaii 5-0 still use the classic theme tune?

Indeed Sir. They even had some of the original musicians play the new, modernized versionKristatos wrote:Does the new Hawaii 5-0 still use the classic theme tune?

Glad to see that, and glad to see Leonard Freeman credited so prominently. It bugs me when revived TV shows etc. refuse to acknowledge their debt to the original creators.Ale wrote:Indeed Sir.
