Spooks is back
Spooks is back
The 8th season of Spooks (or MI:5 for American readers) starts on BBC1 next week. Amusingly, the Radio Times praises it by saying that normally "British television isn't much cop at straight-down-the-line thrillers; writers and producers get bogged down in characterisation and delivering right-on messages and lose sight of the fact that thrillers should be--yes--thrilling." Sounds like a certain spy movie franchise I could mention, hem hem.

Yes! Pinching peasant water my arse.
I have not watched Spooks since the first series for some reason. The last episode I can remember watching was the one where that woman from Ashes to Ashes had her face burnt off.

Bring back Bond!

I've only seen it on and off. I tend to get a bit lost where the ongoing storylines are concerned, and just watch it for the main, self-contained plot in each episode.carl stromberg wrote: I have not watched Spooks since the first series for some reason.
