Re: Babylon 5
I never watched it when it was on. I did watch the spin-off series Crusade. I thought that was wonderful, but it was cancelled after a dozen episodes.
I'll have to watch Babylon 5 one day.

I wanted to watch it, but I heard about it after it had been going for some time, and I was always told that you need to have watched it from the beginning to understand what was going on. I'll have to rent the DVDs some time.

I have one of the beige Moonbase Alpha uniforms and often wear it when shopping.

I did watch it near the end. Some said it was the best planned SciFi series ever and all the plots make sense and the continuity stays in intact.FormerBondFan wrote:Did anyone used to watch this when it was aired?
But when I saw the end of teh series I gave up on it. The biggest baddest war in teh history of creation boiled down to teh shadows and vorlons pikcing up their toys and leaving?!
Its a fun show but I coudlnt get in to it
Chief of Staff, 007's gone round the bend. Says someone's been trying to feed him a poisoned banana. Fellow's lost his nerve. Been in the hospital too long. Better call him home.

I'd watch Space 1999 if you have the chance FBF. It's a 1970's Star Trek style show made by Gerry Anderson (the person behind Thunderbirds). There is a nuclear explosion on the Moon and the Moon - complete with a manned moonbase - is blasted into outer space.
