Incumbents are hard to beat. I think he’ll will win the same states as before.

Sadly my vote will cancel out some transplant from the north east vote. But it looks like great turn out all over the nation

At the time of writing, it's Biden 220, Trump 213, with 10 states still to report, according to the BBC.

But bear in mind that Greg Palast has uncovered the US's dirty little secret - that the constitution doesn't actually give Americans the right to elect their president. Rather, that right belongs to the states. Traditionally, governors have always given their electoral college vote to the candidate that the people of their state have voted for, but this is not required by law. Some Republican governors have openly talked about instructing their electors to give their vote to Trump, even if the people of their state vote for Biden. Whether they'll actually do it or not is another matter, but they could.

Actually wasn’t there a Supreme Court ruling that required electoral college delegates to vote as their state decided? I have to look it up.

That’s a bs talking point they actually tried against Trump in 2016 RNC and dnc ,
They tried say delegates most vote their conscience and were not bound by their state.
Now I only glanced at the decision I don’t try reading it for loop holes.

Now up to 227 for Biden. I think my current hope is for Biden to squeak in with the narrowest possible EC victory, but for Trump to win the popular vote by a landslide, just so I can point and laugh at the Karens who have spent the last 4 years telling us that Hillary is the real president, because she got more votes.

It’s a big mess, definite fraud in some of these states recording more votes than registered. Nevada is a racket with a illegal vote machine but that doesn’t surprise me.
I’d say let it be until the states recount and certify the results. It is what it is.

Only thing we know is the polls leading up to the election were completely wrong.

Well, crap: https://www.independent.co.uk/news/worl ... 95565.html

It could still be 270-268 for Biden, if he wins Nevada and Trump wins the remaining 4 states that have yet to declare.

Nevada is literally a racket where they register in mass employees of these casinos and restaurants and hotels, most probably not legal to vote in the state, they bus them around to vote and get absentee ballots, 8 thousand votes is very slim margins. It’s going to come down to recounts and it had better be open and honest. It can’t look like ballot stuffing which has been know to happen in some of these states. Republicans gerrymander and the Democrats tend to stuff the ballot boxes.

Adding to conspiracy theories is Michigan official election site does not match with the media reports, could be the media has up to date and the site it slow but as they say it’s bad optics.

He's probably staring at his TV screen biting his nails, like a lot of people. One woman on Twitter said that her friend's 3-year-old daughter asked her mommy when she was going to stop watching "the map show."

So, looks like Biden has officially won, though Trump still got more votes than any other candidate in history besides him, beating the record set by Obama. Republicans have made gains in the house, will probably retain the senate, control the supreme court, and I don't think they lost any statehouses. Blue wave, baby, woooh!

Looks that way. But we’ll see how the recounts go and if there are discrepancies that appeared to exist. There is a lot of explaining to be done by these states that looked to literally dump votes in the middle of the night.
Honestly I don’t think anyone will be happy until the election system is fixed so it’s not hidden behind closed doors. There is no reason we have a system filled with errors and faulty machines. I can’t think of anywhere else in the world where people don’t know the day after voting what happened. Seems like our system is filled with intentional delays and mistakes.

Ironic the democrats look to have won the white house but little else, it’s not a position of strength.
Then again if this gets tied up in the courts the state representation will put trump back in office.

I wanted Trump to win as it was more interesting as he tried to do some different things. Those smug Democrats are so dull!

Yeah, if the Republicans retain the Senate, it's just going to be 4 years of deadlock and nothing getting done. On the other hand, Trump's loss did give us the hilarity of the Four Seasons Total Landscaping debacle, which I think is the most joy he's ever brought in his miserable, stunted life.

Re the election either way it’s going to be remembers as mishandled by 70 million people who feel cheated, which is different than just losing. Sport fans never forgive bad calls that change the outcome of games, multiply that by 100
