He won Iowa. All the polls had him ahead in New Hampshire but Clinton somehow won. Now, Obama must win in South Carolina and Nevada to reclaim the lead.

He probably sensed an elephant trap. Whatever he answered, Bully Bill would have spun it to make him look bad. I don't blame him for pleading the fifth.

The horror...the horror... Hopefully Obama will do well and save us from one of those fates (not that I'm a particular Obama fan, but I believe anybody's better than Hillary).

weird results lately... I think Hillary is getting more competition form Obama than she thought would happen. Good.
Now if the RNC can get it in gear, we might get a race, I think they are breaking even 3 ways.

Rudy is toast IF he loses Florida. If he shows strongly there, NY, California await. Hillary's tactics with Bill are despicable against Obama. If McCain gets the nod, I hope he can beat Hillary or Obama. Watch for Bloomberg to throw a wrench into the works soon.

I think Jenna Bush should be asked to stand as an Independent.

He seems to have thrown everything into the Florida campaign, at the expense of other states. I guess time will tell whether this proved to be a wise tactic or not.

Teddy Kennedy basically cleaned Hillary's political clock today by strongly endorsing Obama.

Rudy and John Edwards have bitten the dust. I thought it was interesting that Edwards declined to endorse anyone for the time being. Someone on the radio the other night said that he will endorse Obama...if he is promised a good job should Obama become President.

Yeah, I'm pretty bummed about Edwards. I liked him the best of the top-tier Democratic candidates. Guiliani was a surprise. He seemed a dead cert for the GOP nomination a few months ago.

Rudy's past blew it with the Republican voters. If he was a Democrat, it would not have mattered. I guess it will have to be McCain to beat Hillary, if she can pull out the nomination. I hope Obama can knock her out Tuesday IF he can pull off California.

Rudy's past was already well-known when he was topping the polls, so I don't think that was it. I think it's more likely that they found what Jon Stewart called his "9/11 Tourette's" offputting. Constantly exploiting a national tragedy for political gain is tacky in the extreme.

No, he dropped out, sadly.

I bet it's annoying for Clinton and Obama that are facing each other? If only one was trying for the nomination they would have won easily.

Looks like they're still neck and neck. I was hoping one of them would be the clear winner yesterday, just to spare us the endless "Clinton vs. Obama" stories in the news.
