Newly discovered texts between FBI agent Peter Strzok and FBI lawyer Lisa Page also play a key role in the findings.

“In particular, we were concerned about text messages exchanged by FBI Deputy Assistant Director Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, Special Counsel to the Deputy Director, that potentially indicated or created the appearance that investigative decisions were impacted by bias or improper considerations,” the report says.

According to the report, Strzok texted Page in August 2016 that “we’ll stop” Donald Trump from becoming president. :hair:

“[Trump’s] not ever going to become president, right? Right?!” Page texted Strzok.

“No. No he won’t. We’ll stop it,” Strzok responded.

Horowitz's review months ago revealed other anti-Trump texts between the two officials, who were romantically involved. The "stop" Trump text goes further, and is likely to fuel claims from the White House that the bureau was working against him.

House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., said in a statement the report shows “an alarming and destructive level of animus displayed by top officials at the FBI.”

Other Republican lawmakers pounced on the new text.

“In Louisiana, we call that bias, we don't call that objective,” Sen. John Kennedy, R-La., said on Fox News’ “Outnumbered Overtime” on Thursday.

Strzok had been assigned to Robert Mueller’s special counsel probe, but has since been reassigned. Page later resigned.

The final report could lead to repercussions for some in the DOJ and FBI.

In May 2017, judge Jackson, of the Manafort case, dismissed a wrongful death suit filed against Hillary Clinton by the parents of two of the Americans killed in the 2012 attack on the American diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya, on the basis of the Westfall Act :!: In October 2017, Jackson was assigned to preside over the criminal case that Special Counsel Robert Mueller brought against Paul Manafort and Rick Gates as part of his investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 United States presidential election. She accepted their "not guilty" pleas, granted bail, confiscated their passports, and ordered them to be held under house arrest. She also warned defense lawyers not to discuss the case outside of court. On June 15, 2018, after the prosecution accused him of attempted witness tampering, Jackson revoked Manafort's bail and sent him to jail until his upcoming federal trials to prevent him from having contact with people. On February 23, 2018, Gates pleaded guilty to one count of false statements and one count of conspiracy against the United States. The plea bargain included an agreement to cooperate with the Mueller investigation.

SOP for muller’s steam. Manafort is scum but donate his buddies that ran the Clinton campaign, why aren’t the in jail too?

I’m actually surprised if there is not more damning texts to come out and from other sources that they tried to hide.

Nearly 60,000 immigrants with arrest records -- including 10 accused of murder -- have been allowed to stay in the United States under the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) revealed Monday!

According to DHS, "59,786" DACA recipients have been arrested while in the U.S. -- approximately 7.8 percent of all who have been approved to remain in this country under the program since it was created in 2012. Of those, 53,792 were arrested before their most recent request for a so-called "grant of deferred action" was approved. Another 7,814 were arrested after their request was approved. Of the 53,792 DACA recipients with a "prior" arrest, more than 4,500 had been arrested on allegations of assault or battery; 830 arrests were related to sex crimes -- including rape, sexual abuse or indecent exposure; and 95 arrests were made on warrants for kidnapping, human trafficking or false imprisonment. Ten such arrests -- or 0.02 percent of all arrests -- were made in murder cases.

Approximately 38.9 percent of the DACA recipients with a "prior" arrest were accused of so-called "driving-related" offenses, excluding driving under the influence. Another 22.1 percent were accused of "immigration-related" crimes, while 12.3 percent were accused of theft and larceny. More than 4,600 DACA recipients have been accused of "drug-related" crimes, again excluding driving under the influence!

More Americans are satisfied with the direction of the country than at any point in the past 12 years, according to a new Gallup poll :!:

The poll, which was released Monday, shows that 38 percent of respondents are “satisfied with the way things are going," the highest number since 2005 :!:

“The satisfaction rate, which Gallup has measured at least monthly since 2001, has now topped 35% three times this year — a level reached only three times in the previous 12 years (once each in 2006, 2009 and 2016)," the report says.

Gallup noted that the rise in satisfaction over the past two months comes amid a spate of positive economic news, including the shrinking of the unemployment rate and the continuation of an economic expansion.

Actor Peter Fonda has a social media army and the Secret Service on his back after a twisted Twitter call to "rip Barron Trump from his mother's arms and put him in a cage with pedophiles." The brother of Jane Fonda also called for violence against Secretary of Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen and called White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders a "c---." :cuss: Hollywood is a sewer of intolerance :!:

It was a horrible thing to say. But it's just words. He's not actually doing it, unlike Barron's father.

More accurately it was Barbara & Jenna, Malia & Sasha’s daddys who started it.
But since trump is despicable it’s ok to threaten his small child

I specifically said that it wasn't OK. Just not as bad as putting toddlers in concentration camps, (a policy that was launched in April by Trump and Jeff Sessions, not by Obama or Bush 43). But as soon as I saw the comment, I knew which one BJ would be more outraged by.

President Trump?

Post by Omega »

Well of course Bj was outraged. Obama kept them in cages instead of camps

I doubt anything is actually that new since this April. Just like the dreamers congress can fix it but don’t have the political will.

What are/is the government supposed to do with 10,000 in accompanied minors ?

With the economy soaring, President Trump’s ratings on economic issues are on the rise. Voters are pretty happy with his foreign policy, too, following his generally well-received summit with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 49% of U.S. Likely Voters now rate the way Trump is handling economic issues as good or excellent. That’s up from 39% a year ago and 45% at the beginning of 2018. This is higher praise on the economy than President Obama received during most of his presidency :!:

Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters on Saturday encouraged her supporters to fight back against the Trump administration amid backlash over the White House’s “zero-tolerance” immigration policy — and said “the people” will “absolutely harass” Trump staffers.

Speaking on MSNBC, the California congresswoman said current administration officials who defend Trump “know what they’re doing is wrong” and said they soon won’t be able to peacefully appear in public without being harassed.

Only 11 PEOPLE SHOW UP TO MAXINE WATERS' CAMPAIGN EVENT TO ENERGIZE MILLENNIALS :!:

“They’re not going to be able to go to a restaurant, they’re not going to be able to stop at a gas station, they’re not going to be able to shop at a department store,” Waters said. “The people are going to turn on them, they’re going to protest, they’re going to absolutely harass them.”

Despite President Trump's tit-for-tat trade barbs, America’s CEOs are not wasting anytime in taking advantage of his tax reform plan. Over $300 billion was repatriated to the U.S. in the first quarter, according to the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) -- the most on record :!: :!:

“U.S. firms that used to build their factories overseas in order to avoid U.S. taxes, they stopped in their tracks because of the tax bill, they are bringing all the money home,” said Kevin Hassett, chair of the president's Council of Economic Advisers, during an interview on FOX Business’ Varney & Co. in June.

The Supreme Court on Tuesday upheld President Trump’s controversial travel ban affecting several mostly Muslim countries, offering a limited endorsement of the president’s executive authority in one of the hardest-fought battles of this term.

The 5-4 ruling marks the first major high court decision on a Trump administration policy. It upholds the selective travel restrictions, which critics called a discriminatory “Muslim ban” but the administration argued was needed for security reasons.

At issue was whether the third and latest version of the administration's policies affecting visitors from five majority Muslim nations – known as travel ban 3.0 -- discriminates on the basis of nationality and religion, in the government's issuance of immigrant visas.

Chief Justice John Roberts wrote that the order was “squarely within the scope of Presidential authority” under federal law.

A protest group in a Los Angeles neighborhood allegedly threw a significant amount of feces at the windows of a coffee shop owned by an Israeli businessman. :cuss:
Asher Shalom told CBS2 that on Thursday, protesters held signs and screamed at people at the Asher Caffe & Lounge, which offers Kosher items. They said that the cafe and its owner supported President Trump’s immigration policies.

“So what’s the connection? This is what I don’t understand. I’m confused—the connection between Donald Trump and good coffee,” Shalom told the network.

In seemingly Alinskyian fashion, the protest group Defend Boyle Heights wrote on Facebook July 12, to “boycott the grand open of Asher Coffee and lounge,” calling on people to show and protest the business..............this is why I despise liberalism as these psychologically deficient brain-dead morons prove my point now day by day, from Hollywood to the Soros funded left-wing professional anarchists :!:

Supporters of Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters reportedly burned and stomped on an American flag they snatched off a pickup truck Thursday, while chanting "Black power" outside her California office.

The demonstrators showed up with the intent of countering a planned protest from a far-right group.

That group, the Oath Keepers, had said they would rally against the congresswoman they call a "protest terrorist inciter" early Thursday afternoon, prompting counterprotesters to rally in support of Waters. But the Oath Keepers did not arrive, the Los Angeles Times reported.

Still, a few dozen pro-Waters counterprotesters, including union workers, church leaders, South Los Angeles residents and members of activist groups, gathered outside the office around midday.

Some demonstrators chanted, “Black power,” while other held signs that read, “Resist!”
