Well, of course he was, but loyal Democrats love to blame their losses on anyone other than the Republicans who actually beat them. They blame Nader for their loss in 2000, even though his contribution was fairly minimal.

Nader got a lot of infamy because of that , Ross Perot actually put Clinton in the White House so maybe he wasn't all bad. ;)
Last election the republicans couldn't get their base out, so their get out the vote game just sucks (that and their Romney bot ) the democrats have a app identifying voters house by house so they could be bullied into voting. Creepy app but they know how to get votes counted

Republican frontrunner Donald Trump is absolutely dominating Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton on the top issues for Election 2016 voters–the economy. According to a new poll conducted by Rasmussen Reports, Trump holds a double-digit lead in voter trust on the economy, immigration and is slightly ahead in national security.......Trump also leads Clinton by 73-14 percent among those who favor his controversial views on immigration, 74-13 percent among those who disapprove of President Obama’s job performance, 68-22 percent among political conservatives and 52-36 percent among whites, a broadly pro-GOP group in recent years. (They favored Mitt Romney over Obama by 20 percentage points in 2012.) Among evangelical white Protestants, a core GOP group, Trump leads Clinton by 67-22 percent. :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: 25% of the black vote and 31% of the Hispanic vote favors him too :!:

Looking at trumps political history , party switching , I think he's been planning for years to run in either party. He was waiting for the end of a 8 year term and picked whichever party was not in power .

If I'm right trump will start to mellow a little and do something Nobel like pay for a child's medical care or veterans education .

On immigration people forget he was married to a immigrant. He'll play that up at some point .

Also the Hispanics I know aren't happy with a flood of people coming in either.
You know how spring breakers treat Mexico well some Mexicans treat America that way . Not everyone is hard working looking for a better life . I bet if trump gets the nomination he will shockingly poll better than Jeb with Hispanics .

Too long. Fiorina won both debates. Boring and Jake Tapper was only interested in food fights. This latest muslim stuff is total nonsense. Trump ignored the question and liberals got offended YET Hillary actually inferred Oh-bama "might" be a muslim on 60 minutes in 2008 so she has NO right opening her filthy lying mouth :!: I see this as NO issue at all except for the Republican establishment who hate him and the right wing Kristol elitists who feel they know all and also hate him. video: http://allenbwest.com/2015/09/heres-wha ... to-forget/

A Morning Consult poll, released Friday, surveyed 504 registered voters who watched Wednesday’s Republican primary debate and has only good news for Republican frontrunner Donald Trump and Carly Fiorina. While the poll’s sample size is small (with a 4.4% margin of error), the poll’s trend is worth noting.

In this same poll, prior to Wednesday night’s debate, Trump sat at 33% support. Dr. Ben Carson sat in second place with 17% support. Today Trump enjoys 36% support. Carson is still in second place but with just 12% support.

Trump’s lead increased from +16 points to +24%. That’s an +8% jump.

With their shared status as outsiders, it appears as though Carson’s support went to Fiorina. Prior to the debate the former-Hewlett Packard CEO had just 3% support. She now sits in third place with 10%, only -2 points behind second place Carson.

Overall, the Republican Establishment is the Big Loser here. Non-politicians Trump, Carson and Fiorina command 58% of the vote, and that piece of the pie is only growing larger.

I didn't watch it. But did vote in a online poll for trump just to piss off the know it alls.

The only candidates I can stand are Jeb Bush , ted cruz, and Chris Christie.

Cruz I can respect because he takes a honest opinion but don't want to listen to him.
The other two just annoy me.

I don't like trump personally but get why he is popular. I've gone from never voting for him to if it between him and an establishment democrat I'll vote trump.

The weird thing is as a business man he might have more integrity. Actually keep his promises even if he comes to disagree with them later.

Obama had all the right words but never would lift s finger to help real problems everyday Us citizens face . Bush made Iraq a better place than most poor know in the us, nobody remembers it now because we left a stable county to be over run.

You mean you cannot stand Jeb Bush and Christie I assume. I live in NY and have witnessed first hand Christie's corruption with the big AC casino lobbyists in NJ being his puppet master. He could have expanded gaming outside of AC to save horse racing and the casino industry that is going bust in AC but instead he refuses to do what everyone knows is right for NJ by allowing the expansion of gaming to racetracks in Northern NJ but his benefactors in AC refuse to do it. NJ is a corrupt state. I own racehorses in NJ and I have witnessed Christie's BS first hand. No one forgot his bear hug of Oh-bama in 2012 either :!:

Christie and bush I can't stand.

Bush looked like a low t entitled rich boy in the debate.

There is a interesting story about bush and Clinton being the Wall Street approved candidates , where they couldn't lose either way, trump and sanders scare them.

Kasich is seen as the acceptable alternative for bush and Clinton.

Now I really want a sanders or trump to get to power and actually tax Wall Street and hedge fund guys.

For all the talk Obama made and how much he liked occupy Wall Street he was wall streets biggest friend. A better buddy than George w bush and that took some doing

Agree 100% with you big O, except for Bernie winning. Jeb is an elitist prick who has no clue what is means to have a real job. Christie should drop out of the race and disappear already with 6 other candidates who are going nowhere. The ONLY ones in the mix are Hillary/Biden/Sanders and Trump/Fiorina/maybe Carson or Rubio.. Forget the rest.

Carly Fiorina won the Republican debate Wednesday, but remains significantly behind Donald Trump in the race for the party's presidential nomination, according to two new surveys released Sunday.

The polls, for NBC News and CNN, showed that Republican voters gave Fiorina and Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida the best marks for their debate performance, but that Trump remained the favorite candidate.

Trump had support of roughly three-in-10 self-identified Republicans and Republican-leaning independents in the NBC poll. Ben Carson, the retired neurosurgeon, was in second place with 14% and Fiorina in third at 11%.

The CNN/ORC poll also showed Trump in the lead, but found Fiorina jumping into second place. In that survey, Trump was at 24%, Fiorina at 15% and Carson at 14%. Trump and Carson each lost a few points from a CNN/ORC taken in early September, and Fiorina jumped from 3% in that survey. She had been polling higher in some other pre-debate polls.

There is a new story that the republican are worried their plan to shorten the primary may have handed trump the nomination or at the very least a lot of delegates.

I'd like to see sanders beat Hillary and put a end to the Clinton machine for good. He probably would get his ass handed to him debating trump , even if he got warren to run with him i think he'd lose big. Biden and Hillary I think will lose any way both for different reasons and both are Washington insiders.

Bush's attitude is just so smug then their is the pandering by speaking Spanish which made me completely hate him.

I've been hearing rumours that, as I predicted, the GOP establishment is going to change the rules to try and squeeze out Trump and smooth the path for Jeb! to get the coronation...I mean nomination.
