You can't argue with evidence like this:

Re: President Trump?
Do you have any idea how radically liberal, corrupt, bankrupt, and overrun with illegals with sanctuary cities California is? That state is done and finished and out of touch with reality.
Re: President Trump?
Jeez, it was just a silly Facebook meme that I found amusing in an "It's funny because it's so crap" sort of way. Take a chill pill, dude.bjmdds wrote:Do you have any idea how radically liberal, corrupt, bankrupt, and overrun with illegals with sanctuary cities California is? Your quote stated your opinion so I responded accordingly.Kristatos wrote:You can't argue with evidence like this:

Maybe I should have included one of these in my previous postbjmdds wrote:Your quote stated your opinion so I responded accordingly.
But I thought the picture was so self-evidently absurd that it would be obvious that my "You can't argue with evidence like this" was a joke.
Anyway, back on topic, Trump went there, calling out Dubya for lying America into war. Might cost him some votes among the neocon wing of the party, but gain some from the libertarian wing.

President Trump?
Honestly another bush presidency my knee jerk reaction is they'll get us in another Mideast war.
Besides Jeb!'s brother tried to kill me twice with two different wars so I'm real eager for a three-peat.
IMO there were some good reasons for the wars but WMD was not one. But bush never bother to defend it and Obama gave away out gains as soon as he could. Between the two of them a lot of good people died for nothing , even more living with the scars.

Big O, Trump said exactly what you said. I assume he has your vote over Bernie/Shrill-ary?

Re: President Trump?
You never placed the sarcasm logo, so it appeared you agreed with that California sign. The neocons can go to hell. Trump is bombastic, at times crude, but he is way more moderate than the far right lunatics that go to war over anything overseas, yet allow illegals to run amuck over the southern borders in our own country.Kristatos wrote:Maybe I should have included one of these in my previous postbjmdds wrote:Your quote stated your opinion so I responded accordingly.

I thought the poll/pole pun would be a bit of a giveaway.bjmdds wrote:You never placed the sarcasm logo, so it appeared you agreed with that California sign.

He does routines and chorus scenes, and impersonates Clark Gable: http://www.plymouthherald.co.uk/Donald- ... story.html

When I listened to what the pope said IMO it was more generalized statement not targeting trump by name but he should of stayed out of politics imho. Trump should of ignored it but he'll probably turn this in to a pr win too.
IMO the pope is about compassion, and by itself it's fine big hearted even.
this open border leads to almost slave labor for farms and companies and drug mules and human trafficking. A lot of bad things happen when it turns into a lawless zone.
Btw the pope has his own country why doesn't he take in more people?
For a comparisons compare the USA immigration policy to Mexico and see how hard it is. Try almost any country. Bottom line Don't f' with Mexico when they get serious there is no mercy.

Let the Pope explain this wall around his compound at the Vatican The media egged on the Pope who took their bait and Trump responded properly.
Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Funnily enough, immediately after reading your post, I went onto Facebook and saw this from Catholic blogger Mark Shea:bjmdds wrote:Let the Pope explain this wall around his compound at the Vatican The media egged on the Pope who took their bait and Trump responded properly.
Perhaps the most massively stupid meme to come out of the Trumpkin right, which is saying a lot. You do get that St. Peter's is fronted by a massive unwalled square featuring the Bernini columns that are literally *designed* to represent the arms of Christ reaching out to embrace all and welcome them in, right? Literally anybody can walk in without ID.
Please. Don't let sin make you stupid.

The Vatican has an extensive intelligence network, elite standing fighting force, and most restrictive immigration policy in the world. Lets not forget all their sins of the recent past or that they helped Nazis escape. Shouldn't there be something about casting the first stone?
Ah, I think I know what the pope thought he was doing and why. It's a big hearted message but He's not going to win getting into the political world. He's not infallible when it comes to opinions about government.
To those who actually care Politics is a belief system as strident as any radical fringe found in Islam and Christianity. Even if his only point is help your fellow man it's not going to be received any better than pontius pilate.
That and he's going up against trump the man who runs those great Christian institutions casinos, and is also threading to sue his fellow candidates.

I've moved these posts here, as they more properly belong here. Anyway, it appears that Trump has backed off a bit. Probably wise, he ran the risk of handing Catholic voters over to Rubio or Cruz by seemingly attacking the pope.

trump always backs off. He does it for the headlines then moderates his view.Kristatos wrote:I've moved these posts here, as they more properly belong here. All the sensational headlines and what people think of them, when you read them is normally not as extreme as you first think or he moderates his views back some.
