Occupy movement and Tea Party movement coming together

Postby Kristatos » Fri Dec 09, 2011 10:33 pm

I've been regretting a chart I posted earlier of the differences between the Occupy and Tea Party movements. They actually have a fair amount in common, and it seems that representatives of the two movements in Richmond, VA agree:

OWS has ZERO to do with the Tea Party movement. This is liberal BS to try to make OWS relevant.

I disagree. Both are born of the same frustration with the ruling elite, and realisation that real change is unlikely to come through elected officials, who are all bought and paid for by that same elite. It's the elite that benefits most from having the two movements fighting each other. Like the Tea Party guy said, if they came together, they'd be unstoppable.

OWS's genesis is the socialist Canadian adbusters that is anti-capitalism. The Tea Party is 100% for capitalism. Protesting is not a common bond of relevance Kris. It's what they are protesting, and their lack of ideas to solve problems. OWS is a bunch of hippie loons, who camped out like a college fraternity, and a many of which do not have jobs and are homeless as well, and offer NO solutions. My friends in NYC witnessed their BS "personally". Trust me, you believe too much of what the liberal US televisions shows and NY Times puts out there. Stop listening to Amanpour, Gregory, Matthews, Schultz, Maddow, Hayes, Stephanopoulus, Williams, Sixty Minutes, MSNBC, CNN,PBS, Charlie Rose, Pelley, Matt Lauer, etc., and so on. These are ALL bonafide liberal losers who kiss Oh-bama's rear end and try to destroy EVERY SINGLE REPUBLICAN OUT THERE. Corruption? Just look at the media in the USA.

I don't watch much US news media since I moved back to the UK. Most of what I see is little snippets that people post on their Facebook pages, like that one.
